NO MORE SUNSET MENU! One if the greatest things about this place is gone. It's still good Southwestern fare but it will be a bit shocking compared to what you may have enjoyed before. The shredded beef burrito was a favorite as well as the cedar plank salmon. Great presentations. Valet parking.

We had dinner at the Red Mesa Restaurant tonight and I must say the food was excellent. It's not your everyday Mexican menu but more like a Mexican fusion with some interesting taste combinations. All in all I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who is looking for something a little different and tastes wonderful. The only improvement would be... More

Great place to spend your evening. Start with salsa and chips with a pitcher of hibiscus/pomegranate margaritas. All of the dinners are excellent. Then you can go to the back and listen to the band and finish your pitcher of mararitas.

As a local resident we eat at Red Mesa frequently. The food is great. It's not your everyday Mexican food. Their sangria is good also. They have a sunset menu if you are seated by 545. It's a unique, popular place so get there early or plan to wait.

Four for lunch each with a different but delicious meal. I had the Favorito Combo which was a tasty sampling of some of their specialties.

I love meeting clients and colleagues here for lunch. Their chips and salsa is just fantastic. Good seasoning and a nice bite makes for an easy snack before lunch. I am a creature of habit. I love the Red Mesa salad with fried goat cheese. This is the only restaurant of the group (Cantina and Mercado) that has fried goat... More

After reading the reviews, I was expecting something pretty good from Red Mesa. But like many restaurants in the area, the food felt over-sauced and of mediocre quality. I ordered salmon, which was really over cooked. The vegetables seemed fresh but like they were sautéed in a low-quality oil. The salsa was also quite runny and salty. Again, my opinion... More

For more than 15 years, Red Mesa has been serving up great food and it's done consistently! Their salsa is the best I've ever eaten and I believe it's so good because they make it with chipotle peppers! Sunday brunch is awesome; enjoy their shrimp and grits! A must on the St Petersburg restaurant experience!!

I'm honestly not as impressed as it was hyped up to be. The margarita pitchers do not taste very well, but the specialty ones do. As for the food, you have to order chips separate, but the dips were tasty. I got the mofongo entree and it was good, there was a fair amount of seafood, but at the same... More
