Made a reservation for The Oyster Bar on a Sunday night and were immediately seated upon arrival. Our server was nice, however our drinks went empty quite a few times, I was never asked if I wanted another tea, and another person's second martini was brought after dinner was already finished (when we had asked 20 minutes prior) and we... The Appalachacola oysters are at their best here tonight. $1 each for 4-5 daily. Crisp and huge. Get some while the water up in the panhandle is still cool.

The Wellfleet Oysters were amazing, the service was great. If you love Oysters, especially boutique oysters, this is the place to go!

Used to be a favorite when we first moved to St. Pete a few years ago but has been slowly diminishing as a restaurant. Service was bad, food was average and there was more partying going on than eating.

...in a comfortable exposed brick atmosphere. The raw oysters were the best of our "oyster eating weekend." Service was great and our waiter was very attentaive.

A couple hours after flying into Tampa for a conference, we headed to The Oyster Bar for a drink and oysters. It's a great vantage point on a funky fun street with lots of bars and restaurants. Our drinks were great and the oysters were even better. We were lucky enough to get Branton as a server. He not only... More

Wanted char-grilled oysters which they don't have but instead we had the baked oysters. They were absolutely amazing. The wait staff suggested if we never had them to try sampler of the four different kinds of baked that they serve. I thought the ptarmigan/garlic were the best!!!! We also shared a salad and their Scallops which were amazing as well.... More

My first time in St. Pete. Really liked Central Ave. Reminds me a little of the Gas Lamp in San Diego. Sat outside. Really pleasant. Weather was great. Started with an oyster shooter. Excellent. For my guest this was her first shooter and she loved it. Fresh Blue Point oysters in the shooter. We then had the oyster sample on... More

You can't beat the fresh shucked oysters!!! After having a pretty hard time getting service and food we wanted on Beach; we went to a place we KNOW what we are getting and love it. They have remodeled and opened up the space and I love it. Oyster Bar is great and they will make them anyway you want. This... More
