Absolutely delicious food. Their smoked mullet , mackeral, salmon and mahi mahi are some moist and delicious and served warm. They even have excellent cheeseburgers and German potato salad. A must stop for those visiting the area. But bring cash - no charges allowed.

My daughter's godfather insisted that we find this "hole-in-the wall" place to try the fish dip. (We make it a point to try the fish dip where ever we travel.). It was delicious, reasonably priced, and we even bought a t-shirt! Non-assuming, but worth the drive. Get a smoked piece of fish to snack on -- you won't be sorry!

First, the main 'attraction' is smoked mullet. Wow. Smoked bait fish. Pricey for what it was and not worth it - btw I love smoked fish but this was sub par. Second, the servers seem to be trained that since this is Ted Peters, we should be honored to be there and the service will happen when it happens. Next... More

Mullet is my favorite but love the salmon and the mackerel too. Usually go to the take out - usually busy. Hate the attitude of the servers. Not friendly, not helpful and basically rude. One guy acted like he is doing me a favor by selling me the fish. The area to eat was much friendlier servers, but we like... More

My son wanted to try this place. We pulled up and it looked like an old fashioned road side food stop. I admit I was skeptical. He ordered us smoked fish, I envisioned a fish head on a plate. It came out in a little lump looking like tuna fish with saltine crackers but tasting like heaven. This is worth... More

Was my first time there to Ted Peters wanted to buy a piece of smoked mullet and was told that they were two separate entities one side is a restaurant and one side is take out and they do not cohabitate together if you'd like to eat at the restaurant you may not pick out your fish or you may... What a wonderful treat. Open air dining, authentic atmosphere, great tasting fish (I had mackerel both visits), friendly staff and fair price. I visit st pete once a year and make a point of eating here at least twice. One small heads up ...they only take cash.

Always very tasty smoked fish in the smoke house. Take cash only. ATM is handy. Don't expect friendly service from grumpy smoker dudes. Easy to overlook "service" for the quality and taste of their smoked salmon. Restaurant is okay - I prefer the smoked fish To Go....
