It is a chain restaurant, but a good value of a meal, especially a family meal. The chicken fingers are frozen bagged, but the catfish tenders are made on site. Its a simple place with a simple country-style menu. The service is fairly good and the surrounding are country hockey.

This is the place to go for decent comfort food. Their fried chicken portions are juicy and large. The accompanying sides like collard greens and cornbread give it authenticity. Service is prompt . Place is usually very busy but wait times are very low.

We happened upon an ad for this place, and were surprised to see it because we thought that PoFolks went out of business decades ago. My wife of 30+ years and I went to the PoFolks in Dayton, OH on our second-ever date, and that location is long gone. So when we saw the ad--including a coupon for 50% off... More

We usually don't like fried food much, but decided we were in the mood for it. Went to PoFolks and all I can say is Wow. The fried chicken was crisp and moist..not greasy. Cornbread and veggies also delish. Our server, Don, was on top of everything. We definitely will be back!

This place has some of the best fried chicken I have ever had. Cooked in 0 trans fat and 0 cholesterol oil....not greasy at all. Very meaty and juicy. Staff is very friendly and keeps an eye on your table to see if you need anything. It's homey and they have a very diversified southern menu.

I remember when my parents would go to a Po' Folks in SC after church back in the 70's. Still the best fried chicken, fried okra, hush puppies, and turnip greens. Good waitress. Good prices. St. Petersburg

We went here an hour before they closed on a Thursday evening. We were seated and waited on quickly. The food was fresh and tasty. We both had the fried chicken and it was excellent. Our waiter Don was very attentive and friendly. Great prices too! Only draw back was the checkout person was not very friendly. I say you... More
