Toured the museum of this former Flagler Hotel. Beautiful private collection- well worth the visit. Highlight was lunch in the former indoor swimming pool of the hotel called Cafe Alcazar. Well worth the admission price for the museum and delicious fresh food in a lovely...More

This had to been one of the best meals I have ever had. Our food was cooked to perfection. I had the signature dish of shrimp and artichokes Giovanni. My husband had the sandwich special (Rueben) and said it was perfect. We even splurged on...More

Cafe Alcazar is found on the bottom of the old Flagler Hotel swimming pool. Consequently, it is not only a unique dining experience, but is also a nice refuge from the hot summer sun. The cafe is only open 11 AM to 4 PM. Nonetheless,...More

We decided to go here last minute and I'm so glad we did. We got corn chowder, pesto shrimp pasta and two desserts. Everything was amazing. Our waiter was excellent and someone played piano while we ate. It was a good date spot but would...More

This was a one time visit for me to this unique restaurant. It may be worth the experience of dining in the Once largest and deepest pool in the USA. The dish I ordered was subpar to me. I am a seafood aficionado and I...More

We came here once before and it has become our "Must" go to place for lunch at least once while we are there. We love the history and the food is excellent every time. HUGE sandwiches and unique takes on their recipes.

This is a historic site. The indoor pool of Henry Flagler's hotel. Unique atmosphere. Super menu, great specials.

You literally are dining in a turn-of-the-century swimming pool that was once the Alcazar's guest swimming pool. Sitting on the floor of the pool (it even still slopes toward the deep end) you are graciously greeted by an attentive staff and piano accompaniment. Food is...More

We have eaten here before and although the shops that used to surround the swimming pool setting are now gone it's still a great place for lunch. The dining room is actually in the bottom of what was the swimming pool of the Hotel Alcazar!...More

We really weren't seeking this place out, we kind of stumbled across it, and were pleasantly surprised! I thought the cafe was beautiful! Soaring high ceilings, pretty art work, the food and wine were very nice and reasonable. We didn't do a formal tour, just...More

The cafe is predominantly a lunch restaurant, with very limited dates for dinner. It is well worth the wait if you're not able to make it for lunch.
