I would highly recommend eating here for lunch at least once. The setting and atmosphere is really cool and unique! The skirt steak tacos were good and the hummus was good as well but the atmosphere is what made the experience a definite must try.

When you walk in to café Alcazar it is a special treat from the Decour of the restaurant, to the beautiful music by the pianist, to the great tasting food. Service was impeccable. For an appetizer the sesame chicken was no less than outstanding. The...More

A wonderful Downton Abbey experience is taking place at the Cafe Alcazar on a daily basis: High Tea! Natalie, the pastry chef, presents tiers of finger sandwiches, scones, desserts, cookies, jam, locally-sourced honey, clotted cream, and tea. It's an outstanding hour and a half with...More

Recently my wife and I visited the Downton Abbey clothing exhibition at the Lightner Museum in historic St. Augustine, FL. We enjoyed it immensely but were not surprised because the Lightner always does a great job. What we weren’t aware of is that the Museum...More

We booked the high tea since we were here for the Downton Exhibit. We expected it to be Downton quality. I must say we were all horribly disappointed. For $55.00 we expected a better presentation, and better food. We have all been to high tea...More

Stunning, gorgeous, take your breath away atmosphere! Can't wait to go back again. The food was good - not fantastic but it doesn't matter. Its all about the place and it is spectacular.

High tea here with a group of eight after the Dressing Downton exhibit. Very accommodating server, Brian, was great, as was the food. Wonderful selection of tea, we were also given an additional package of tea of our choice to take home.

Our innkeeper at Bayfront Westcott B&B recommended this and we were certainly not disappointed. The food was fantastic, I had the catch of the day. It was so fresh and cooked perfectly. The service was great.

Considering it used to be an indoor swimming pool, it's hard not to soak up the history while enjoying a nice lunch. It had quite a nice variety on the menu, I chose a lighter half sandwich & soup to save room for an outstanding...More

As the others said, smart casual or whatever you feel comfortable in. I tend to like dressing up since I’m retired and don’t get many chances to wear some stuff f my nice stuff but that’s me.
