Fun local bar and the restaurant with a tiki bar with picnic tables. Full of nice locals during the day, busy for dinner. Turns into bar only late in the evening.

Good food and fun place to hang at night! Thursday night is All U Can Eat... Crab legs! They have Karaoke every night and it can be a very fun crowd! Lunch and Breakfast is good!

There's lot of fun eating and drinking for locals and snowbirds at the Friendly Tavern. The surprise is that they seem to be among the very few local restaurants that know how to cook honest caramelized onions, which they put on their black and blue burgers. Sometimes the fried fish is too greasy. Sometimes the service is slow, but the... More

This was our second visit to this friendly restaurant. Food was good both times, service great and very friendly. I nice local restaurant worth visiting for a meal. The salads were good with excellent dressing. Burgers are thick and juicy, if they were flatter, they would fill out the bread better. We will be back

A very nice local tavern, really good food. They have a drink special of two dollar bloody Mary's before noon.

Though I am not preggers I have been craving fried chicken of late. My fried chicken dreams have not included any of the fast food chains. I wanted my yard bird cooked in a locally owned dining emporium. Of course I could have made the drive up to a dandy bird vendor in Dunedin, but just the other day I... More

The friendly is just that. The burgers are good and the fellowship is equally satisfying. Sometimes the Karaoke is extremely entertaining and, with enough beer, you might even take part.

Great bar food. The fish fingers were great and more than generous serving. Burgers and a daily special.

We accidentally discovered Friendly's 25 years ago when we first bought our vacation condo on the beach. Watching the karaoke in a place that had so many regulars and the warm friendly and fun atmosphere was such an unexpected hoot! And it hasn't changed since. Food is good as bar food goes. It's the kind of place where a woman... More
