They have the best homemade salsa around!!! Chunks of tomato & onion and a great flavor. We shared a mexican pizza which if enough for two people. The shell had a nice crisp crunch. Loaded with meat and toppings. My husband had the burrito with shredded beef. Chock full of beef and cheese. Comes with refried beans and rice. Our... More

This used to be one of our favorite local places to go for Mexican. WAAAAAY better than Pueblo Viejo or Tijuana Flats. We went there today and it seems like a different place. Weird smell when you walk in, decor is now cluttered and tacky. Food was no where near the quality it had been in the past. I still... More

This is one of the best Mexican restaurants you will find in St.Lucie County!!Extremely clean, cozy, the food is scrumptious! Service is FANTASTIC! I can't say enough about the management, on top of issues, kind, caring, and welcoming!!

This place was great years ago, but when it sold it became hit or miss. Sometimes it's really good; other times not so much. Very inconsistent. I gave it three stars because the salsa and chips is good, that is, if you can get whole chips and not a basket full of broken chips. We had our last dinner at... More

It's a cute restaurant, in fact one of the more notable ones alone Highway A1A. It's colorful with nice booths and tables of carved wood with Zapatista carved into the back. Staff was pleasant. The menu is a typical Mexican menu. The cafe was not busy on a Sunday late afternoon. Guacamole and salsa was good. Entre, a fish taco... More

I took my girlfriend there about a week ago because she is from Houston, Texas. So she enjoys Tex Mex food. But the beans that came with the order were so small of an amount it was as if they came out of a baby food jar, when I questioned the manager she said that was their serving size. It... More

Zapatas is a cute place to go if you are not really looking for an Authentic Mexican food restaurant. This place os more like Tex-Mex. It has a cute ambiance with some nice seating areas, stocked bar, and fun decor reminiscent of the movie, The Three Amigos. How to Tell Tex-Mex vs. REAL Mex: Authentic Mexican cuisine does not include... More
