We have been dining at Krazyfish since it opened. Over the years, the food and service has had its ups and downs. However, I'm happy to report our dinner tonight was delicious and the service was outstanding. I had the coconut shrimp with a side of broccoli. The shrimp were cooked perfectly and the dipping sauce for the shrimp was a nice mix of sweet and tangy. The cheese sprinkled over the broccoli added a perfect touch. My husband had the crab cake sliders (the special of the night) with cole slaw. The crab cakes were crispy and the remoulade sauce was a perfect combination. The cole slaw had interesting ingredients--far better than your average cole slaw. Our server, ShannonT., was friendly, attentive, and made sure we everything was to our liking. All in all, this was the best experience we have had at Krazyfish in a long time and we will be sure to return.

We came for dinner on Thursday evening around 5:30 and was told a 30-45 minute wait for a table. Over an hour later we still had not been seated and was told they were not sure how much longer we would have to wait. We took our name off the waitlist but did return around 4 on Friday evening. We were seated immediately and enjoyed our food immensely. The appetizers were a bit small but the meals were a good portion size for the price.

We had a great dinner at Krazy Fish on 7/13. We were quoted an hour and 20 minutes wait so elected to eat at the bar and had great service from the two very busy bartenders. They gave us great food recommendations and we really enjoyed everything - started with goat cheese balls and fried crab claws, for mains had the seafood platter, grouper tacos, and crab cakes (from the appetizer menu). Side salad with Tupelo honey dressing was delicious and unique. Slaw was also different and tasty with a yummy sesame flavor. Our fries were limp but were an included “oopsie” so not a problem but just be aware. Hush puppies were saturated in grease but that was about the only misstep. Plentiful local beer choices and cheerful service were the cherry on top. We would definitely return to try other items, though it would be hard not to order that seafood platter again. They were out of scallops and let us substitute oysters on it and the fried oysters were succulent, fresh, and super tasty. We were all happy with our food and beverage choices and would recommend this restaurant to friends.
We liked that you could check your place in the wait list on their website.

We ate here for lunch early in the week with 9 of us. Everything was pretty great and we really enjoyed the food and the service. On our last day,Saturday September 24th, we had time to eat somewhere for lunch before we headed to the airport and my mom really wanted the coconut shrimp from Krazyfish again. 5 of us were waiting for the doors to open at 11am. We ordered quickly and were one of only 3 parties in the restaurant when we ordered. When we had been there early in the week the place was busy and the food had come out quickly. This time however the food took about 45 minutes to get to our table. Everything was very cold when it arrived. The coconut shrimp which had been so good a few days before were barely edible. My dad never got the hush puppies that he ordered. My husband got chicken strips and fries and they were burned AND cold. We did complain and they did offer to cook more chicken but at this point it had taken so long that we had to leave and get to the airport and didn’t have any more time to waste. My husband paid for a new meal once we got to the airport. They DID NOT remove the nasty chicken strips from our ticket. I got up and went into the restaurant to use the restroom and there were 3 employees, one of them being our waiter, all standing at the counter eating. I’m assuming this was part of why it took so long for us to get our food and why it may have been cold. We come to the area 2-3 times a year and enjoy many of the local restaurants. I don’t think I will waste my time and risk such poor service and cold food again when there are so many other great options.
I will say that we have been there other times and have had good experiences but this time was just ridiculous. I don’t know if there was a manager or owner there that day but I don’t think it’s appropriate for three employees to be eating at the counter right at noon while your customers are waiting for their food and then you serve it to them cold. I hope they read this and figure out what their employees were up to that day.

Stopped by for lunch, very limited lunch menu, very loud music (eventually turned down) and VERY expensive wine. Ordered wine and the bartender “sniffed” the bottle before service, (believe it was previously opened) this was not a specific brand of wine. The pour was exceptionally small , would guess less than 4 oz. The wine was OK but have had better wine from a box. The food was ok but charging $10 for a Cesar salad of romaine croutons, Parmesan and dressing seemed a bit on the high side but then adding about 6 shrimp for $10.00 was also quite pricy. The fish sandwich however was fairly good. The meal took a downturn when the bill came and the wine was $14.00 PER GLASS.
For a total of $28.00 . This was a complete rip off. Complained about the wine price and waitress said “Well, that was what is on the “system””. The couple next to us also had the wrong sandwich served. Don’t understand how this place has positive reviews.

Average food, nothing special. We did like the updated waitlist system where it texts your phone and you can follow it for time updates. However we were disappointed with their updated menu, many of our favorites were removed, and the pricing on everything else had drastically increased. We were most disappointed that the spicy chicken salad was removed from the menu. Hoping they’ll bring back their off season specials menu. 🤞🏻

The ambiance of this place was great! The food (in my opinion) was very overpriced. We were a party of four adults and three teenagers, and did not realize that there was a gratuity for a party of 6+. We were charged 20% for a “large party” however, the menu stated 18% gratuity (we checked the menu after the fact). Our server did not come check on us after the food was delivered. A few other things: one couple was not asked what they wanted for their two sides, so order was received with two sides of fries (about 8-10 sides to choose from), and the pineapple chutney for the coconut shrimp platter they were out of. One person did not get sauce with their shrimp platter and I’m guessing the “caught in the bay today” was neither caught in this bay OR today. Pineapple orange margarita was $14 and about half the size/double the price from another establishment across the street. Bloody Mary was $10 and although very good, was quite small (3 mushy green olives and a lime wedge for garnishments).

$27.00 for a shrimp platter that had 8 tiny over fried in bad grease Shrimp I have ever seen. Fries were stale, hush puppies were little balls of mush. We were a party of 4 with 2 getting a drink from the bar. We all ordered the same meal, all had the same experience. The total for that dining experience…….$175.00. I felt scammed when I left.
They should be ashamed to serve something like that at that price! $7.00 per plate would have been too much for what we had. Before I go back to Krazyfish, I will go across the street to the Piggly Wiggly and buy a box of frozen shrimp and a bag of frozen fries, at least I will feel like I got my money’s worth😡

I ordered hush puppies as a starter $5.00 recived 3 over cooked oily hush puppies asked for butter was told they didn't have any.
And IPA Beer will cost you $9.00 sorry that's crazy to me.
My main course was Jumbo shrimp and grits. For $29.00 the shrimp were medium sized this dish was to include spinich , portobello mushrooms, bacon.which there was none , asked the server what happened he stated they changed the menu this dish was not as described and most definitely not a 29.00 meal.
Sadly there were 3 other's with me who also who had a unsatisfactory meal the fries were good.

$26 for Piggly Willy frozen fish pieces and $24 for something what was called Grouper Fingers. Absolutely the best example of customer gouging. Restaurant is nice and very pet friendly. Staff excellent and felt sorry for them having to explain such poor quality fish. Surely a coastal fish food restaurant could serve better quality fish. Don’t avoid this place but if you want fresh fish , don’t order.

The one positive was an attentive staff...but then for an almost empty restaurant I guess that's to be expected.
This was an overpriced experience for mediocre food at best. Approaching $90 for one appetizer, two entrees and a couple of sodas. The fish (one very small and rapidly aging filet), shrimp and fries were cold, the calamari overdone and the cheese grits were dry...and all that for $90!?!
No thanks. We'll hit McDonald's for fish sandwiches on the next pass through Port St Joe.

On vacation with my family. Three adults and 3 kids under 4 went for lunch. Our bill was $252! The food was mediocre at best. The grits were like liquid and had little flavor. The crab cakes were not done all the way and were more like warm tuna fish salad. We ordered a round of “perfect margaritas” which were FAR from perfect! They were supposed to have grand marnier - these didn’t. We drank them anyway. Orders a 2nd round of different drinks. I ordered a marg WITH a shot of grand marnier - it was a completely different color and you could definitely tell it had the good stuff in it. I asked the mgr to take $15 off (5 per 1st round of drinks) he refused! Said he made our drinks himself and would not take anything off. Terrible customer service and mediocre food at best!

Don’t look at the menu online before going or you will end up more disappointed than I was.
I ordered the shrimp and grits, it was decent but not worth the money that it was. The pic I’ve included is of my husbands peel and eat shrimp that have less seasoning than when I buy them fresh at the grocery store. There was black pepper on a few of them. Just a few, so don’t get too excited over it. Drinks were ok, that was the best part. Except for the fact that we got passed over four or five times at the bar before we were acknowledged and at that point our table was ready. Speaking of which, we were never asked if we preferred inside or out, and when I asked for outside when we got to the hostess stand I was told it would be a longer wait than we had already waited.
Service was ok, and by ok I mean ok. I’ve had better at a fast food place. Our waitress was at our table 3 times - ordering, bringing our food and taking the check. My husband had to walk to the counter to ask for cocktail sauce.
On that note, we paid for a meal that 100% was not worth the money we spent and are currently at another restaurant waiting for food because I’m still hungry.
Oh the woman next to us has cold fries when they came out.

Had to wait 25 minutes for a table. Didn’t seem crowded at all. Must be short staffed. Server was nice. Ordered beverages and appetizer of calamari. She came back and we ordered entrees. My cocktail had a gnat floating in it (cons of open air dining experience). Waited quite a while. They brought entrees and we never got appetizer. Was told “kitchen lost it.” Opted not to reorder. Portions were good but in very small bowl and no knife given to cut anything. Server came by when we were almost finished and we asked for the check then so we wouldn’t be delayed any longer.

Went on 6/30 at 7:45pm. Had to wait an hour for a table for 3 adults & 3 kids. The waitress was nice, but overall service was just okay. Took a long time to get our food. Then we had to ask for the onion rings they forgot, basic things like ranch for kid’s chicken tenders, ketchup, tartar sauce, & cocktail sauce. Nobody & I been nobody liked the food. We came last year at this time & enjoyed the place, but it was so bad this time the husband said as much as it cost & how bad it was we won’t return.
