We came here on the weekend that Matthew threatened to terrorize our cities. On the day after I messaged them on FB to find out when they were open and got a response right away. We came for a late lunch and the food is amazing as always! We love the winerchniztel here. Portions are big and prices are fair!... More

While our visit was pleasant, it seems quantity and selection outdo quality. It was edible but would probably not eat their again.

My husband and I ventured out of our normal dining rut to try Checkers based on the positive reviews and I'm so glad we did! The food was AMAZING-I didn't even know I liked Veinersnichtel and warm Potato Salad but now I want more! The beer was cold, great vibes in the small space, friendly server-what more could you ask?... More

One of our favorite restaurants in Pompano Beach. Excellent food, service and atmosphere. Great coupons for the regulars. True German food and beer.

You can't beat checkers. They have a great boot tour that always leads to a good time. Their food is very good. Gotta try the sausage sampler, the pork shank, and the goulash, and ll exceptional. But the pork shank is the one,and ll 2.2 peice of meat, wow

Went on a Saturday night with no reservations. Waited at the bar, lots of activity. We were served bread, pretzels, mustard and german beer. A pretty German girl who worked there was fun and friendly. My German friend and I enjoyed the evening.
