We walked into a full house, with many tables for two and an acoustic guitarist gently strumming. The waitress was exceptional, anticipating (not just meeting) our every need. Owned by the chef, this place has homemade pasta and the most delicious bread offered with two different dipping oils. The menu is extensive with many unique entrées. Prices less than some... More

My daughter and I had date night. We wanted a quaint restraunt. Da Sesto Italiano exceeded our expectations. The place was packed but they graciously seated us immediately. The ambiance of an authentic Italian ristorante, the elegant decor and live one man Italian guitar player and singer (btw he claims to be a world champion ping pong player..lol) He plays... More

From the outside it looks like a run of the mill local restaurant, but this is a clear step above that. Food is freshly prepared in an open kitchen with a small but not pricy wine list. Service is very good and the specials and veal dishes are well above average. Weekend guitarist a plus. Call for reservation especially on... More

We have been to this restaurant several times and we are never disappointed. The pasta is made fresh as is all the ingredients. It is small and intimate. On weekends there is a performer with a guitar and plays softly. Because it was my husband's birthday, the waiter brought 4 cannolis.

First time trying this place. I'm a tough critic on Italian food, being a S. Philly home-girl. Service was excellent, but it was a BUSY Saturday night, and I get that. My husband got the veal special with artichokes and peppers and he LOVED it. I got the gnocchi, knowing it can be a risky choice. But they make their... More

I ordered 16 oz Strip steak. ERROR! It was so gristly that my wife had to cut it for me. I could chew it , but not swallow it. Wife and sister Enjoyed their Italian dishes.

For some reason, Mr. Sesto hired two new people to replace Giancarlo while he went on vacation to Italy. Wrong move!! Jose and Laura are the people working as the temporary chefs.. For some reason Jose who is not Italian does not know how to cook the way Giancarlo cooks, and the way the food tasted like when Mr. Sesto... More

At this point I would never want you back in my restaurant ever again!!! I have always valued your opinion but I draw the line at you insulting any of my staff. You are so misinformed that I should just laugh at your posting but I feel I need to set you straight. #1 There is no Giancarlo(never was). Gianluca... More
