It is a shame they are only open three days a week. The grouper is the best I have ever had and the gumbo is perfect.

I made a last minute decision to eat here and it was GREAT! Chet's is a small, family run business that serves up awesome seafood. I had the broiled marinated grouper and it might have been the best fish ever. Served with two sides and two hush puppies. I could've scrape up all of the delicious sauce. I finished with... More
Don't be fooled by the appearance this place has the best seafood in town. Their grouper is the best I have ever had . Shrimp, oysters flounder, mullet..and great value and their kids choices are good for $4.99 you get a plate full of popcorn shrimp and fries.
This place was recommended by locals and it did not disappoint. Awesome shrimp and grouper. Fried lightly to perfection. Great prices and portions. Only open Thursday-Saturday 10:30-8:30. Small place but it's the place to go for fresh seafood.

Brought our own wine which to me is a big plus. I had the fried grouper, my wife had the marinated grilled grouper... More
Chet's is a "locals" seafood restaurant.. Not at all fancy but seafood is consistently good.. The broiled oysters and marinated grouper are my favorite..

Everything is fresh and great if you want fried seafood this is one of Pensacola's oldest. Right now during roe season for mullet they offer Mullet roe (either yellow or white) and they also offer mullet backbones for the old... More

Their fried oysters are wonderful... heck, everything on their menu is wonderful! I've been coming here for 20 years,... More
