This is a unique place with the world's best fried chicken and also the best pecan cobbler I've ever had. Be sure to get the cobbler with ice cream. We also saw on the menu the $5 meatloaf Monday and wish we had been there for that! We visited on a Saturday night and the live music was an added... More

Went on meatloaf night and thoroughly enjoyed this historically themed restaurant. Food was tasty and inexpensive. Service a little slow, and crowd noisy, but I am coming back often to hear the music

It has great atmosphere. Indoor and outdoor seating. I felt the tables were too close together and the seating uncomfortable. The food was okay but for me everything was too spiced. But I must be fair. I am not a fan of Cajun flavored foods and usually only order things like red beans and rice and green tomatoes at places... More

Headed here on a Saturday night - waited only 10 minutes! Our menu choices were delicious , chicken and waffles, mac and cheese, pulled pork, fish and shrimp and grits (not spicy but good) and grand southern vegetables! Boz Scaggs and other "saxy tunes' by the Blenders! "Sistahs" we will be back when we visit Pensacola again!

With a blues-inspired decor and chicken that is out of the world, this cafe is a jewel in old Pensacola. The service was fantastic and the specialty of the house (Fried Chicken) was top-notch.

Very nice restaurant in downtown Pensacola. The food was delicious!! My friend had the BEST fried chicken with collard greens and cornbread and I had an especially well seasoned seafood platter. The decor is very interesting in that there are portraits of B.B.King, Dizzy Gillespie and other jazz greats. Our waitress was really a good waitress. She was very attentive... More

Very good out of the way place. Good home style food, fried chicken is my suggestion. Live music many evenings.

After a full-day in Pensacola, my daughter and I were up for some good southern food. On a cold rainy evening, our GPS helped navigate us to this gem of a place. With quite an extensive southern menu, we decided to enjoy the fried chicken that came with a couple of sides. Tough to decide as they all looked good!... More

Stopped in to have appetizers here and will be back for dinner. Sat at bar and around 3;00 the place only had a couple of tables. Bartender was welcoming and very knowledgeable. Had the sampler based on his recommendation. Homemade sauces compliment the fresh ingredients of the crab cakes, green tomatoes and shrimp. The ambiance is very bluesy with a... More
