First time visiting. Received top notch customer service and good food. This isnt your typical restaurant but rather a quick stop cafe style food. I tried to the roast beef sandwich and really enjoyed it. If you are in P.C. and want good service and...food at an affordable price this is a must try.More

We have been coming to David’s for several years now because their snow cones are the absolute best. However this trip was different. We tried two to come two times in May, first time finding their “spring” hours have them closing at 5 pm. The...second time we arrived at 455 just to get our boys some snow cones (they had a sign saying their kitchen was closed but they were still serving snow cones) only to walk in to an employee walking out (with a snow cone in hand) telling us they were closed. We’re not typically the type that shows up just before closing and complains, but really? You couldn’t make two snow cones for two kids with 5 mins left before you technically close? Very disappointing. I would like to think that this is an isolated incident with one employee, but we are trying Mr Mellow’s shaved ice at hidden lagoon as they are open for business. If they are anywhere close to being as good we will be done with David’s.More

Thank you so much for being a customer of ours for years. Please don't let one isolated incident destroy your faith in us. We have been very good about if it says the hours on the door we don't close before then. This is why...More

Landed at ECP, got the rental car, and drove STRAIGHT here! It’s a fav of ours whenever we’re here, which hasn’t been for 2 years (thanks, Covid). But the gumbo was tasty and the muffuletta was a dream! I submit it’s better than any you...get in NOLA. The hot French bread and TONS of meat with the briny olive salad...yum-o! My husband and I split a 5 inch sandwich. We couldn’t leave without some beignets and they were even better than I remembered. Powdered sugar everywhere, but it was worth it! Go on Monday for their red beans & rice, it’s another of our favs. And get there for lunch before 3pm when the hot kitchen closes. So nice to sit outside under an umbrella in Free Florida with warm sunshine and a tasty local meal. Bliss!More

You must try the beignets and the Snow Cones with ice cream. Owner mingles with the guests and is very proud of his products. Beignets are New Orleans great! Kids can’t visit here enough. Stop in and make your day.

Delicious food and a sno-ball to cap it off. My family and I stopped here last week and enjoyed ever meal we all bought. The owner is super friendly and helpful also. Will definitely come back.

The Snowballs were so good we went back the next day and invited friends! The mini beignets were very good! We did not try the food but it looked really good! I recommend everyone try this spot. You won’t be disappointed!

We came for cafe au lait and bignets and I must say that the french doughnuts tasted just like in New Orleans! The coffee was OK not great but still when well with the pastries. The owner personally came out when the coffee was delayed...and apologize. Just nice people. No wonder why this is the highest rated restaurant in Panama City Beach. Warning: as the climate gets warmer, they will be selling more sno-cones so be prepared for the lines!More

Pulled up 15 minutes before closing and asked if I was too late for beignets... the cashier assured me I was not, then David himself emerged from the office with a smile and said heck no! I’m telling you, these are good people who want...your business. I ordered 4 orders of “3 plus 1” beignets, a bottled Diet Coke and left a $3 tip, rounding out my tab to $30. What a steal for such yummy goodness! I got them to go and then hustled several miles home to 30A... and they still arrived warm and delicious! Plenty of powdered sugar (honestly, you can’t be stingy with that— but some places are) and cooked well... a fantastic experience! It just like back in NOLA! While I was waiting for my order, more folks came in and ordered chicken strip baskets, fried pickles, ice cream cones and shakes... they seemed like regulars which makes sense ... this is a place you could get used to! Their “winter hours” are 9-5 Tues-Sat so plan your visit— but it is definitely worth a drive from 30A! We will definitely be back and look forward to trying more menu items... including snowballs this summer!!More

WE finally gave David’s sno-balls a try To Go on Wednesday 2-3-21@12:30. The sandwiches were wonderful as recommended. My hubby and I shared a Small mufflata and it was more than enough to split. TONS of meat and delicious. Also took home an order of...4 beignets that were delicious Except- that they weren’t done all the way through and DOUGHY in the middle, Very disappointing. Maybe it was a fluke, but not at all enjoyable. We were sad. Did not eat them. I guess try one before you take out. Thought I would let you know... It was too late to take them back.More

Craving a muffuletta from New Orleans or a dressed roast beef soaked in gravy...this is the place. You would think you are in New Orleans enjoying their fresh stuffed sandwiches instead of beautiful Panama City Beach. It normally takes me two days to finish a...small muffuletta but so good and affordable. Wanting something hot get the roast beef with gravy soaked bread, soft inside and crispy crust. I like mine not dressed just beef and gravy. Taste just like the best pot roast on a large roll. If you are looking for a dessert get the soft serve ice cream with flavored ice. All good.More
