This was my second time dining at Voco after I had a really good experience when I first visited in January 2020. It’s always so nice to have proper food here to give us a break from the traditional theme park food. I ordered the...lasagne and previously the chicken fettuccine alfredo and they were all perfect portion sizes, packed full of flavour and nice and hot! The waitstaff were very accomodating when a member in our group wanted to change her order at the last minute as well. Always a favourite at City Walk and good value too.More

On arrival, disappointing that whilst we booked for a table of 8, for some reason they could only accommodate us in two separate tables, unless we sat outside. We opted for outside as the point was to dine together. The Italian food was amazing, our...server was fantastic and the location was in the heart of Universal City walk with great views. Have to say best Lasagna I have ever tasted! Would highly recommend and hope they listen to your table requirements!More

This was the best meal we had on our trip. After a long day at Universal Studios we arrived on time for our reservation and were seated immediately. Our seats were the chef's table where we could watch the meals being prepared. This was very...enjoyable. The chefs definitely put on a bit of a show for us and it was fun to watch all the different dishes being prepared; it helped us decide what we wanted to order. We did wait a very long time for service after we were seated. I was starting to wonder if anyone had ever been assigned to our table. When they did arrive we requested bread service (it's free). We waited a while for our meals too, but not an undue amount since they were very busy that night. I had the chicken piccata, and my kids split the sausage ragu. Both meals were excellent, and you get a lot of food. We had no room for dessert, but we loved our meals here and would definitely return, but I might try lunch instead in the hopes that it would be less crowded.More

We initially had great enthusiasm for our dinner at Vivo. We were seated on arrival and enjoyed our appetizers. The Antipasto was excellent and all was good, at least at first. The four of us asked our waiter for recommendations, and afterwards ordered Lasagna, Lasagna,...Chicken Parmesan, & Chicken ravioli... We watched in surprise as all of the tables around us were seated and served. Our Server then came back to us for drink service and informed us that our food would be right out. Being seated near the service area, we were able to see many dishes staged and that seemingly different dishes were being brought out in batches. After 30 minutes we saw our server again, he told us that they were behind in the kitchen and offered us some additional bread. (The bread is good by the way.) About 15 minutes later our meals were served. Both of the chicken dishes were as expected and well received. The Lasagna on the other hand was very dry and had been sitting under the heat long enough to become crunchy on the top layer. The Lasagna had two primary flavors, tomato and a very subtle seasoning. The dish was served with a thin layer of bolognese that could not redeem it. I cannot recommend this dish or the condition in which it was served. All in all this was a poor restaurant experience. When we were asked about the food there was seemingly nothing that the restaurant could do about the food or the experience. This was our first visit to Vivo, it will likely not be considered for a second one .More

We visited Vivo at the end of a long day in universal studios. Our party of six was seated quickly and served in a professional manner by Rudy, who was a gracious host with good recommendations for food and drink. Many of the Italian dishes...were with homemade pasta and quite tasty. The 4 cheese pizza is a prime example. I shared mine with my daughter and a half of a pizza was more than enough to satisfy us along with a calamari appetizer. We would go back to Vivo if we're in the area again.More

We originally booked a table for 8:00 and shortly before we decided to change the booking time which was done easily on the universal app. When we turned up at the restaurant we were taken and seated straight away despite the restaurant being very busy....All staff were very kind and talkative. Service was very fast & food was brilliant. Great portion sizes and filling. The manager even came over and introduced himself and was asking a bit about myself and my partner. We were both very happy with the service and if we visit Orlando again we will definitely be paying this place a visit again!!More

Should be a great spot to have high quality Italian after a day at Universal. We were seated outside on the patio and we requested the fan right above our table be turned off. The waitress told us they couldnt turn off because the staff...was hot. It was a 70 degree night and the fan was causing us to be slightly cold but more importantly was making our food cold as soon as it hit the table. After a couple of requests it was turned off and then back on. After dinner, we ordered a last round of drinks and given the patio was cleared out moved to an empty table not under the fan. The host at the restaurant then rudely asked us to return to our table. The manner it which it was requested caused me to leave my drink and leave and will never return despite the food being quite good. People that work there need to understand they are in the customer service business.More

We've been Vivo's customers since it openned in 2015. In general, we love the ambience and the food. The fact that it is located just outside Universal's parks makes Vivo a great choice for dinner at the end of the day. Every two years we...spend our holidays at Universal and choose to dinner at Vivo a few days during our vacations. This year we've returned to Orlando/Universal and planned to do the same. Our first visit (on the 15th December) was quite pleasant although we were surprised for the changes they've made to the menu from 3 years ago (they have only a few options now, and excluded the best dish "shrimp caccio & pepe"). But that is ok. We totally understand that option to simplify the operation. After this first visit we decided to return on the 23rd (last dinner of our trip). And this was the worst experiente ever due to an incompetent and rude service. We've made the reservation an arrived on time. But they tried to squeeze us in a table that barely fits a party of 4 (we were a part of 5). We asked to move to a booth but the person responsible for allocating the tables (Dillahn, if I remember correcly), said that all booths were full and recently seated, so it would take at least 40 minutes to accomodate us again. The table was so small that we decided to accept and wait for a booth, even if it was going to take 40 min). But I noticed that only 5 minutes later, one booth asked for the bill (that means they lied to us about every booth had just been occupied). I brought this fact to Dillahn's attention and he was rude. Some minutes later he returned and informed we would be seated, but not in that booth, and he took us to a booth at the end of the restaurant. While we were walking to our designated table, I've counted 6 booths available, that means he had lied again about every booth been occupied when we were first seated at that small table. Even worse, is to feel that his behaviour, placing us at the end of the restaurant, doesn't seems to be only a matter of rudeness or incompetence, but true xenophobism. We would have no problem if this table was offered to us as soon as we had asked. But when it was offered only to prevent us from seating at the booth that closed the bill (at the front of the restaurant) we cannot be anything but offended and unsatisfied. We were tired and decided to stay at the table he provided, but we were very disappointed with Vivo and probably we won't be returning next time we visit Universal. We would better choose Fresco Italian food (even if it is not located at Citiwalk), because the food and, above all, the service are much, much more adequate to a city that is dedicated to tourism. PS: The girl at the reception (Genise) tried to help us and was very pleasant, but she couldn't do much about Dillahn's decisions.More
