1st trip to Disney, so we are trying to hit all the character meals we can. We ended up doing this one a 2nd time. The meat tray was ok-ish, but the duck was amazing, my wife’s beef tenderloin was delicious (I had to sneak...a bite) and all the desserts were wonderful. This is one of the few meals my kids have actually asked for more of the meal instead of asking for dessert(Mac & cheese and fruit/cheese).
It was well worth the money!!More
My son is not into princesses but we thought it would be fun to eat in the castle and I’m so glad we did. This was truly a magical experience for both of us. Walking into the castle and then up the winding staircase set...the vibe for entering someplace special. Then we stepped into the ornately decorated dining hall and couldn’t get over how majestic it was. Pictures didn’t do it Justice. What an experience! The food was good, loved the soup and my my son and I both loved the lamb. Cinderella came out and did some social distanced waving and my son I think really thought it was the real Cinderella and he blushed a little when she waved at him. Really a sweet experience.
Definitely worth the visit even with a little who isn’t into princesses. For us it was mostly about that castle!More
We went here for the first time to celebrate our little princess' birthday in late November. This was our first time dining her so we didn't really know what to expect. The food was ok. Their menu was pretty limited. The dining experience wasn't the...greatest we've had at Disney (we've had character dining through Disney cruises) and I guess we had a bit more higher expectations since we were celebrating our daughter's birthday. Our server looked a bit tired and service was pretty slow. We did see Cinderella make a few appearances social distancing. Overall we'd give this place a second chance but only after masks/social distancing are no longer required. It was a bit pricey for the quality of food and service we received. And we're the type of people that will go all out and pay the premium $$$ for quality outstanding service.More
I was excited about trying Cinderella’s Royal Table since it was slightly discounted due to covid. Normally I’m not too excited about the meet and greets and so was fine passing up on the experience but I did want to see the inside of the...castle. I also wanted to get MK photos after closing so took this opportunity when I was able to score a late reservation for last week. I knew the food wasn’t going to be that great, and sure enough it was just okay. I got the soup of the day (beef barley), beef tenderloin and the Clock Strikes Twelve dessert. For my week long trip I did a sit down restaurant daily and the food here was probably one of the most forgettable. Basically you are paying a premium to eat in the castle and see Cinderella wave about every 20 minutes. For those trying to decide between here versus BOG, I recommend BOG. The part that annoyed me the most is that the meal is pre-paid with gratuity. That is okay but as an AP and DVC member you get dining discounts and so I read you are to tell your server to get the discount. I did and he said he would take care of it.. and he didn’t. I’ve been checking my statements and I see the charges for the drink I ordered that night but no refund. I even asked a second wait staff person because my server didn’t even ask for my cards which I thought was weird, and she also said it’s taken care of which wasn’t. I was by myself so it’s just a little money but if it’s a bigger family that’s a lot more money lost. I don’t know if it’s because gratuity is pre-paid or it was the end of the night but the servers didn’t seem to have as great of attitude as other restaurants. Anyway I’m glad I got to try it out once but don’t feel the need to do it again. MK isn’t known for great restaurant options but I can tell you I had better overall experience at BOG, Skipper canteen, and Liberty Tavern than here.More
This is my favorite restaurant at Disney World! The castle is beautiful! I missed seeing all the princesses but we did see Cinderella. I am a very picky eater I don’t like salty spicy or greasy food. The chief came out and I asked for...plain chicken and not salt on vegetables. He got it right and it was delicious! Our server was a little grumpy. She did not even offer us drinks we had to ask for them aft our food was served. She never checked on us. Just didn’t seem to care. I wonder if it was because she was pre tipped. Not the usual wonderful Disney cast members we saw through out our trip. Usually we have great service here. Chief was wonderful and food was great so we will be back!More
We usually spend 2 days of our vacation in MK, with one dinner in Be Our Guest, and the other in Cinderella's Royal Table. Sadly, we will not be back to Cinderella. I don't mind not having princesses come around to each table for pics....What I do mind is a mediocre meal for 3 at $100 each. We are all steak lovers, so we ordered them med rare... a mistake. They were raw with no flavor. I only wish I had pics of the meat. Our waiter kept telling us he'd flog the chef, but did us little good. Next time it will be Liberty Tree instead of Cinderella. Terribly disappointing.
We love Disney and are DVC owners, so this slice of the magic is one we'll pass on here on out.More
We ate breakfast here in early March 2020. With no boys with us we figured it was a good time to have breakfast with the princesses. Pre-pandemic, we met Cinderella and had our photo taken. We were then called and seated upstairs at a window...seat with a view of Fantasyland. It was extremely loud. There were introductions of each princess but it could not be heard. The princesses each visited the table, provided autographs and posed for pictures. My daughter is picky and there was nothing she wanted on the allergy menu. The chef was wonderful and asked her what she would like and made her a delicious gluten free breakfast. I was surprised when my food arrived how little food there was on the plate. The cost is really is for meeting the princesses and experience of eating in the castle. Although we had a good time, this is most likely a one and done for us.More
From memory it’s probably 1.5 hours from start to finish if it’s the same format but maybe COVID has changed that. All the Princesses used to come round to each table but I’m
not sure if that’s allowed now
