First time eating here and not to disappointed. $29 per person for breakfast had me. Little worried but they had a large selection of food. They not only had pancakes and waffles ready to go they had a waffle and pancake made to order station...for those who like unique toppings and fresh food. Server Marie was very attentive and polite, she made enough talk to not intrude on our meal. She was great!!More

Fantastic breakfast buffet. Max at the omelet station made a perfect omelet. Darren the server was great. We wish we had come here sooner in the vacation. I don't know what they did that made the sausage gravy that good but I need to know.

Everything the Kitchen does seems to be over the top in the best way possible. We’ve eaten here a few times for snacks / dessert, but this year we made a point to try their buffet breakfast. The selection is outstanding! I had eggs Benedict,...and my husband had a customized omelette. You could easily fill up on the cooked to order items like blueberry / chocolate waffles and pancakes (all included in the buffet price), but the self serve items were delicious and plentiful as well. Huge #UOfistbump to Darren our server, who set us up with to go coffee before we hit the pool. And another #UOfistbump to Max at the omelette station who made a killer eggs Benedict while chatting with me and just being as friendly as someone possibly can be. We’ve been to Universal 4 times now and we won’t make the mistake of missing this breakfast on any future trips.More

The sad part is we didn't discover this wonderful restaurant until the day before we were to leave. It started off with a wonderful breakfast. Our Server, Zainab, was remarkable! She was very kind and professional. The food was excellent. It was so good we...came back the next morning and requested we be seated in her section. Hard Rock is blessed to have her. That evening we had dinner there. Chef Jeffery Hileman and his team were amazing!!!!!!! He prepared us a "off the menu dinner item." He prepared us beef Chateaubriand. I have never had such a wonderful dish. It was the perfect temperature. The perfect tenderness and above all else the perfect taste. Chef Jeffery even served the dish to us personally which was totally unexpected. Hard Rock is fortunate to have him. I know we should only be discussing the food but Customer Service is still a big thing to me. Do yourself a favor and drop by and eat at The Kitchen. It is not just "Hotel Food." It is quality food with kind and professional people.More

I ate here a few years ago and it was lovely and as we were staying at the Hard Rock Hotel I suggested we spend an evening here. It was very disappointing. Our server was ok but being asked when only halfway through our main...course if we wanted dessert was not welcomed and we felt very hurried. My first choice of main was not available but the server did not know this on ordering so had to return later to tell us and another option had to be chosen. Apparently there was a magician moving around the room but he never appeared at our table but I notice he and, what appeared to be another member of staff were talking loudly and for a very long time at a table behind ours. Our mains were brought up by another member of staff with hardly a word or smile, the food was ok, nothing special. When we left the restaurant the two girls at the desk didn't acknowledge us. At the prices charged some effort should be put into giving a better customer experience. I'd love to stay at the Hard Rock Hotel again but will not revisit this restaurant.More

Good Breakfast buffet. There are tons of choices, and fresh cooked omlettes and eggs benny. Inside and outside seats. Even though we were there later in the AM (Long live Halloween Horror Nights) everything was still fresh. Attentive servers

Located in the Hard Rock Hotel, the breakfast brunch was delicious. We sat down as soon as we got there at 10:15am. But I can see it being crowded earlier to get to the theme parks. We had the buffet and also visited omelet and...pancake station. The service was quick and courteous. BEWARE… we did not stay at the hotel, we self parked and it was $47 for an hour and a half, ABSURD.More

While staying at the Hard Rock at Universal Orlando we had the good fortune to have supper at The Kitchen. They have a specific "allergy kitchen", which to my GF (allergy) bride was especially welcome. We dined during their "restaurant week", with several dishes offered....Diane's BBQ wings were huge, flavor intense with just a touch of "kick". My salad, with the Chef's own "Champagne Vinaigrette" brought joy to my taste buds. We both had their Braised Short Ribs Ragout, her's GF, mine regular. Both were excellent, my noodles had to have been crafted in the kitchen, they were great. The only thing better than the meal itself was the service and customer focus of the chef and staff. Our server, Zainab, was truly amazing, her menu knowledge and insight was incredible. We had an outstanding dining experience.More

Loved having the buffet breakfast here. Lovely fresh food, from fruit to freshly made omelettes. Everything was great, pancakes, French toast, sausages, bacon, fresh waffles were lovely, the list goes on donuts, pastries etc. But the best part was the staff, absolutely fantastic. Think this...is the best buffet breakfast have had at a hotel. Thanks for looking after the Clark’sMore

Excellent Sunday Brunch. Went to “The Kitchen” several times during a long weekend. Sunday Brunch is excellent. Freshly made foods; cheese tray. Elvis French Toast. And a guitar player. Oh and great endless mimosas. I think it’s a hidden gem in Orlando.

We visited for Sunday brunch whilst staying In Orlando. We went at 1pm and not that busy and the brunch set price of 48 dollars for adults. I was looking forward to it but after getting there for me it was just a extension of...there breakfast and food had been out a long time and sausages cheap quality. There was plenty of choice though . The meat they carved was good but gravy tasted burnt . Deserts were good but not replenished . Acoustic set was good drinks were brought as much as you wanted Mimosa included. Maybe should have gone earlier would have been better . Overall disappointing .More

After watching You Tube reviews about the breakfast buffet here, we were excited to go during our vacation. We decided to do the during the week buffet, which is $29 per person, rather than the Sunday buffet recommended by our travel agent because it was...$40 per person. We figured it through the week was good, maybe we would go back on Sunday. Unfortunately, I don't think we will even be back on our next Orlando vacation. To start, we got lost. I thought this restaurant was in the Hard Rock by Toothsome at Citywalk. That was my mistake. Having never been to Hard Rock before, I thought that was the hotel. We went to the Hard Rock, was told The Kitchen was at the hotel, which was a 15 minutes walk (according to the host). It was suggested at the Hard Rock that we not go to The Kitchen but stay at the Hard Rock instead. I thanked them but I had made a reservation at The Kitchen and we were excited about it. We left for our walk. Note to self, you could take a boat to Hard Rock way faster, and easier, than walking. I wish someone had told us that at the Hard Rock Cafe, especially when one of the people in the party is obviously a senior and it is a hot day. We walked to the Hard Rock which, in the sun and with someone who is older, took about 20 minutes. We were very late for our reservation by the time we arrived but, thankfully, they took us anyway. We explained our confusion and apologized for being late. The hostess (did not get her name) rolled her eyes and said it was a "7 minutes walk max". I was put off by this. Like I said, one person in our party is a senior (73 years old) and has bad knees. If we had known you could go by boat, we would have. If we had also known that it was not in the Hard Rock by Toothsome, we would have taken a bus. We made a mistake; very sorry to be late. Maybe we should have stayed at the Hard Rock Cafe or had a bagel at Starbucks instead. Our server was Marie and she was lovely. Very attentive, great personality. She refilled everything quickly, made recommendations (Elvis French Toast), and got every plate fast. I cannot say enough good things about her. The food itself was okay. I frankly expected way more for the price. Much of the buffet was cold, despite the warming trays. The scrambled eggs were awful, I could not finish them. To get my money's worth, I ordered a waffle. It was a good waffle, nothing special about it, same mix as at home (box mix I assume). I mean, literally nothing special. When it was ready, it was put on a plate and given to me. No offer of icing sugar (like the one on display), no fruit topping, nothing. You can get fruit from the buffet but, it would have been nice to offer something. My mom got an omelette from the same area. She ordered ham, green pepper, and onion. It might have had two pieces of ham, three pieces of green pepper, and six full onions inside. She stopped eating it because, while she likes onion, not that much. Overall, Marie was a great server but it was not worth the $29 price tag for a buffet. We were disappointed because we liked the look of a buffet at another hotel for the same price but went with this one instead. We felt like we wasted our money. We won't be back. We didn't even want to attempt it for dinner after that experience.More

For those who read the Tripadvisor reviews of this restaurant, you may notice that my wife and I last ate here in November 2022. We had enjoyed so much last time that we decided to book again - and we found our experience just as...good as the last time! Quite apart from the food - which I will cover later - we were once again privileged to be served by Jeremy. Our server once again surpassed the definition of superb - not only did he remember my wife and I from last November, he remembered our food order and the wine we chose!! For a restaurant that that has a transient clientele, this is truly an amazing feat and something you do not encounter that often. Turning now to the food, as I have previously stated, the quality of the food and the price point are so good you might expect to pay double the price in other Theme Parks in Orlando and certainly in our humble option, is excellent value for money. Many visitors to The Kitchen in the evening will simply want some well prepared and affordable food and will always get that! For those who can afford the time to take in all that is around them, this a restaurant that provides quality and service that would not be out of place alongside high end establishments in Sand Lake Road. If you are staying on-site at Universal, (even at a different hotel as we were) do give the Kitchen a visit as it is well worth it. We will definitely be returning!More
