Had a great time at the 50's Prime Time. Server remained in character and scolded us if we attempted to leave food on our plates. Fun atmosphere with 50's TV shows (old Mickey Mouse club, etc.) playing on numerous TVs set up throughout the restaurant....More

My girlfriend and I visited a while back and we had a blast. The staff treats you as if they are your parents or grandparents living in the 50's. From being called children when called to be seated, asked to set the table once there...More

This was a fun meal - the 50's theme is great. My husband got told off for having his elbows on the table and my son for not eating his beans. The theming is great and consistent. The food is fine but nothing special. Meant...More

Came here as my friends choice of food and it was well worth it especially for the theming and atmosphere. Food was lush, recommend the Salmon of the day dish. Only downside for us was that the service in our section seemed a little slow...More

It's a cute restaurant that transports you back into the '50's. The waitresses are all in character (Think "Flo" in Mel's Dinner). They give you a hard time if you don't have proper manners. So that means no cell phones and say please and thank...More

We love going to Prime Time for lunch. It really is like you are at home eating. Fried chicken, meatloaf, thick milkshakes. And all the while watching old classics on classic televisions throughout the restaurant...that is modeled after your grandmothers kitchen. There is a bar...More

This restaurant has a cute, 50's TV show theme. The servers treat you like you're their kids (even the adults) and they will "scold" you for having your elbows on the table, your phone out at the table, etc. Our daughter was in the restroom...More

I don't think so, they definitely have beer but I don't recall seeing Coors Light
Can you request a tone down on the scolding. Our son has Autism, I am not sure he'd understand that it's a joke.

Yes, you can tell them you do not want to "play" and they will be happy to help you.

I seen people just going in to have desert too. There was a long line when we got there for our reservations; so not sure if you can just walk up. You can ask them a question on their actual website.

50's Prime Time Café serves classic American comfort food in a TV-themed setting. The restaurant sits across from Echo Lake in Disney's Hollywood Studios theme park. The 50's Prime Time Café menu includes family favorites like golden fried chicken, traditional meatloaf and pot roast, cooked the way Mom used to make it—that is, if Mom were a 1950s sitcom star.Be welcomed into Mom's family and feel at home in her kitchenette. But Mom expects you to mind your manners, so don't be surprised if she tells you to keep your elbows off the table. It's all part of the old-fashioned fun and gentle ribbing that's served up along with the food.TV Tables and Tune-In LoungeFor a special treat at 50's Prime Time Café, grab a "TV Table" that seats up to 4 diners and has a television next to the table that broadcasts clips from popular prime time sitcoms circa 1955 including "Father Knows Best" and the original "Mickey Mouse Club."Bop into 50's Prime Time Café for lunch or dinner. Cocktails, wines by the glass and frosty beers are available from Mom for Guests 21 years of age and older, or relax in the Tune-In Lounge full-service bar and sip Dad's Electric Lemonade or Grandma's Picnic Punch. From the mid-50s knick-knacks and memorabilia that decorate this restaurant to the dessert menu displayed through viewfinder toys, nostalgia is the main ingredient at 50's Prime Time Café.
