Went to Kona Café twice in the last week. The sushi was fantastic and the reason why we went back the second time. Service was prompt and friendly. Would highly recommend and will definitely go back the next time we are in Orlando.

All I can say is AMAZING. My daughter and I went to enjoy some sushi. The prices were a bit more than I wanted to spend on sushi, however after trying it, I wouldn't hesitate to go back! (I think this will be one of our go-to restaurants from now on). The dinner begins with a pineapple bread with a... More

We had been to Kona before and were not impressed, but we wanted to try it again for breakfast since we were staying at the resort. The server really ruined this meal for us. He sounded like a robot, messed up the order and we had to get his attention to even stop at our table. Then he asked for... More

A couple of friends of mine and I went to Kona for the first time this evening to celebrate a birthday. We started off with three different appetizers, including the octopus the steamed buns and the tuna Poke. All three dishes were very good and tasty. I was particularly pleased with the Tuna Poke, though I wish there had been... More

The final morning of our vacation we went had breakfast here. We kept hearing about the infamous tonga toast and kona coffee that we had to try. Our tonga toast was really tough like it had been under heat lamps and the sausage almost embarrassingly burnt. The only thing that saved the rating of this restaurant was the coffee. We... More

I always make sure to stop here for their delicious potstickers and fruit fondue. The Cast Member wait staff is amazing and the managers Buddy and Duval are especially kind. The atmosphere is very Hawaiian which I love and if you are there around 6PM, you can watch the nightly torch lighting ceremony with the blowing of the conch shell.... More

Kona is a great place for breakfast. They have a variety of choices and while it is a sit down restaurant the food came out fast with little wait. I had the Big Kahuna, which included a little bit of everything (pancakes, eggs, sausage, etc.). I highly recommend the Big Kahuna because it's hard to choose just one thing. The... More

This was a "date night" while at Disney. The setting is sort of thrown into a corner of the second floor at the Poly. However, the food was wonderful. The pasta was wonderful.

Description
The Kona Cafe infuses a bit of Asian zest into traditional American breakfast, lunch and dinner fare in Disney's Polynesian Resort. Indulge in the scrumptious cinnamon and banana-stuffed Tonga Toast or choose from a variety of more savory breakfast options like a variety of egg dishes and pineapple macadamia nut pancakes. At midday, satisfy your hunger with an Island chicken sandwich and housemade sweet potato chips, shrimp and scallops, or other tasty entrees. Dine in the evening on delicacies such as a selection of fresh fish, grilled ginger-crusted ribeye steak or coconut almond chicken. As you enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of this Polynesian restaurant, feast your eyes across the onstage open pastry kitchen that prepares divine desserts. Kona Cafe offers authentic Kona coffee as a perfect pairing to these pastries, or as a rich addition to any meal.
