After a fun day at Nokomis Beach we had a great seafood dinner. Our party was large, so we were very pleased that they accepted phone reservations. 7 adults and 8 kids- quite the crowd! It's a very laid back restaurant with great service. One person got the Grouper Reuben and I was jealous!! Soooo delish! Several people opted for... More

My husband and I went first for lunch and then he went back without me -- shows he liked it! There is a broad menu of various types of seafood (they specialize in oysters) and there is a seafood market in the restaurant where you can buy fish filets, etc. It compares favorably to Walt's in Sarasota and Phillippi Creek... The food is always very good. Our waitress was excellent in all areas. Three of us finished the meal with the Key lime pie and "oooh and aaah-ed" about it: it is excellent.

Been here many times. This time I stopped in for a late lunch. I ordered a beer and the grouper cheeks. The grouper cheeks are always good, but not always available. I had them blackened and was not disappointed. Will definitely go there again.

Enjoy going to Capt Eddie's. The fried oysters are great and if you don't try the Grouper Ruben you are really missing something great. No ambiance, typical fish restaurant but the staff is attentive and the food has not disappointed us yet.

Nakomis is a little city but part of the strip mall from Naples to Tarpon Springs. Stopped here for a beer and liked the servers. I guess the food would be average or better.

I've eaten at this restaurant before (a few years ago) and swore I would never go back, however my husband loves the hogfish and I went in strictly to buy the fish. When I walked through the door I was pleasantly surprised at how CLEAN the restaurant was. The staff helping me with my order gave me a sample of... More

Highly recommended by a friend. They are off my list of restaurant critics. Let's start with soup. A bowl of milk and flour with some flavoring. Salad? Looks like it was picked up at a gas station. I had fried shrimp. The shrimp were the size of marbles and the breading tasted like uncooked flour. The only thing that looked... More

Stopped for lunch. Iced tea tasted old. Calimari tasted like it was fried earlier and sat in a warmer. It also did not come with a sauce. One item was forgotten and took about 15 min to get a person to bring the item. Only three other tables were seated. The ketchup was cheap generic. Small portions. Fries and hush... More
