Food was average at best, but plenty of drink specials. There are many nicer places in the area to visit.

I ordered a chicken sanwich with maranara-parmesan cheese. The bottom bun was a soggy mess of goo, there was too much maranara - was running everywhere. My daughter ordered fish & chips and she had to pull the coating off as it was so greasy....More

Went to Pelican Larry's to watch the Packers play the Bears. It was my first visit to this bar. Fun atmosphere but really lousy service. They must know that the Packer / Bear game was going to be a zoo. Instead of putting on extra...More

Terrible experience because of the waitress. First, we sat at the table way too long before we got greeted. Our waitress finally got there and took our drink order. That seemed to take quite awhile to get our drinks. Then after all this time, she...More

Calamari very overdone and tiny. We complained and no one bothered to say sorry or take it off the bill. Mahi also overdone in the sandwich. Menu is on a flimsy piece of paper now and no hint of dessert.

Description
Once upon a time on a dock in Naples, there was a little Pelican. His name was Larry "because that's what his Mama called him". Little Larry would sit around all day waiting for the local fishermen to come in so he could eat the fish that they would bring him. As time went by Larry, would do the same routine, float around all day in the sun and wait for the boats to come in. He was very happy but he realized he was also very lonely. He wanted to share his daily fresh catch with everyone. He thought: "Why not invite some friends over to share my fish with?" So the flock gathered and they ate the catch of the day with him. As word spread around more and more people came over and before you knew it there was no more room on the dock for everyone. That's when Larry decided he needed a bigger place to meet. He found a cozy little spot on Pine Ridge Road. Things went so well there, he had ice cold beer, drinks, a kitchen to prepare the daily catch and he added a menu of appetizers sandwiches and daily creations and decided to name it after himself: Pelican Larry's. Again things went so well that Larry had to open up another restaurant on a Immokalee Road. So now all of Larry's friends are welcome to come over for daily gathering of great people great food and great times. And the rest, as they say, is history.
