Had always had a great lunch here, but last week, Sunday, stopped in and it was terrible. Fried green tomatoes-not good, cole slaw-bitter, fried shrimp-batter slid off each one. Husbands fried okra were clumped in a ball. Not even busy, several empty tables. Think the prices were higher too. What happened? We were always a fan?

I've only visited a few times as its across town, however the food was good along with the service. Its worth stopping if you are in the area craving seafood.

We always love going to Chets. The selection is great and anything you order will be great. I always get the mullet but each of my family order a variety. We loved the meal this trip and will return soon.

We went to Chets last Thursday and as I walked in the door it smelt like rotten fish....not a good sign. Then I ordered the catfish which use to be real good, and it was these little bitty finger size fish and they were rubbery ,couldn't even eat it! They have cut back so much they are no longer a... Came to get some good ol grouper. We ordered marinated and nonmarinated grouper, fried shrimp, hush puppies, tater logs, and fried pickles for an appetizer. Everything was satisfying but the fried pickles. We've had them before but this time they tasted fishy. The customer service is always welcoming.

Stopped for lunch with friends after a trip to the Copper Possum Collectibles. The one on Navy Blvd in Pensacola doesn't hold a candle to this place. I had fried whitefish and it was the best! A friend had the blackened whitefish and it looked great. The hush puppies, coleslaw and cheese grits were delicious. If you are in Milton,... More

My two favorite seafoods are Mullet and soft shell crab. Tonight I started with mullet backbones followed by fried soft shell crab. The food and service was very good.

Chet's is a local seafood staple. If you're in the area you gotta have the fried mullet. Nobody knows how to cook 'em like these good ole boys!

Small seating area so expect a wait. It's worth it. Fried shrimp, fried oysters, fried mullet, catfish were all enjoyed by our group. Very good. Casual location. Friendly Staff.
