Was our second visit for dinner and even more memorable than the first. All three courses were excellent in both flavor and presentation, service was excellent, and the view overlooking downtown Miami was very nice. The restaurant interior is elegant with a spectacular fire place. Prices for high end cuisine are reasonable. Only complaint is a corkage charge which at... More

Summary: Date night delight--stunning view of Freedom Tower and tables spaced widely apart with soft music, in a classic fine dining atmosphere. Solid service, especially by the hostess. Sexy ladies' lounge. Prices not bad at all for this level of place. Inconsistent or incorrect descriptions of menu items. Food finely made, but not flawless. Came here with family party of... More

Conceptually the idea of having a high end restaurant atop a culinary school is both appealing and logical. On the good side, the views are lovely, the waitstaff was attentive and the menu creative (rotates seasonally). On the mediocre side, the food was good but not amazing and the prices were exorbitant. If you are in the area and enjoy... More

If you want a quiet place far from the Miami scene then this place is for you. We were here on a Friday night for dinner with another couple and were one of only 4 occupied tables in this pleasant top floor restaurant in the Culinary Institute building. Although you enter through a somewhat intuitional lobby and take a antiseptic... More

Had a table for 2 on a Friday night, 9pm. Restaurant was surprisingly quite empty. We started having a foie gras each. They could even offer a glas Sauternes along with it. The starter was nicely arranged, but eating it, it turns out to be not well balanced: the sherry maple gastrique along with granola and apricot was killing the... More

A miami spice menu up to the top of culinary Heights, best of many good Dade restaurants. Worth driving 65 miles and more! Excellent wines and up to the best ratio of food /services and value.

Tuyo restaurant is hidden gem in Downtown Miami!!! The service is excellent as well as the ambience. We took advantage of Miami Spice menu and it was delicious!!! The lamb belly slider was to die for, and I'll still taste the crispy calamari with delicious aioli. Make sure to make reservations to this restaurant...

My husband and I went to Tuyo went for our anniversary dinner. We wanted to try somewhere new that would also be a bit of an experience and not just dinner. I made the reservation online and asked for a seat by a window with a good view since it was our anniversary. When we arrived the hostess wished us... More
