Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Awesome Takeout as well! The Thai Special fried rice is truly special; not greasy but very moist and flavorful... Great Chop Suey with very fresh tasty vegetables. The Pad Thai is tops and the Sushi rolls are huge and delicious. The food is wholesome and very tasty. Easy parking on top of the building.

It is very dark at night time inside. The fried rice is very good, and the honey chicken is too good. The teriyaki was a little burned. But if you are searching for a Thais restaurant then this is the one for you.

My friends and I love to go here at least once every two months, this place really has the best sushi. Forget about Sushi Sake and go to Kam Wah!

I had a bunch of people over and decided to order Chinese. We got the family pack B and it came with a jumbo fried rice, chicken wings, egg rolls, crab Rangoon, and a large won-ton soup. We also had 3 meals to order from the value pack all for under $50. The food tasted very good as well.

This hidden strip shopping center place off Bird RD is the place for Thai, Japanese and Chinese in West Miami Dade. Tasty food well done in each nationality. My favorites are the Peking Duck and their Pad Thai... We go as family and order multiple plates to share. Great balanced flavors accompanied with a dry Sake. Prices are reasonable and service always friendly. After leaving in many Northern cities with big Asian communities it was refreshing to find this quaint place in west Miami Dade... We are fans.

Based on the reviews, we decided to try it on a Friday night. It's a small restaurant with regular tables/chairs and a separate area for traditional eating on the floor. We were surprised to see it somewhat empty when we arrived around 8 p.m. During our time there, it appears it's basically a take out place as we notice many customers coming in placing orders.
The menu offers a choice of Thai, Chinese, Japanese that includes sushi. For obvious reasons, each had a limited selection. We had the Thai pad with chicken/shrimp with a medium hot sauce which I found very good and true to medium spice for my taste. The portions were a good size.
We would definitely come back when the urge for Thai or possibly Chinese food comes to play.

Went on a slow Thursday night around 6:00p
The place was empty when I got there
Not much choice of beverages - ordered a glass of wine, got a split of Sutter Home Pinot Grigio for $6 - yuck!
Ordered some Fried Wontons, 95% wonton 5% pork, if even that
Got Tom Kha soup - not bad, but no reason to get it again
Got a tuna roll, didn't smell great, didn't look great, but I'm still alive, so there's that
Most of the rolls had Krab in them, so no thank you (instead of Crab...)
Ambiance - the place was quiet, large muted TV tuned to political channel...nothing says stay and eat like angry people belittling each other
Parking is plentiful, bathrooms were clean
Didn't check the WiFi, but the 4G was decent, even in the back

I had the 3 way roll (pictured) and it was amazing. My daughter had the Christmas roll and on another occasion the Florida gator roll and both were equally delicious. Quaint little place hidden in a shopping center, i have lived in the area for five years and never even knew they were there. Service was great and place was clean. Definitely a little jewel of a find!

Cozy little restaurant with friendly waiters. The entire service was excellent. The quslity if the food was awesome and very tasty. Presentation of food was also very good. The desert menu is just mouth watering. Went there for lunch with the hubby and spent less than $50 between the two of us. It has very reasonable prices. Will definitely return!!!

We stayed in the Comfort Suites and were looking for a healthy quick meal; Great fried rice, nice soup for just a few dollars. Good value for money. We definitely go back!

Kam Wah is primarily a Sushi bar / restaurant, but it offers Thai, Chinese, and Japanese dishes in the menu. Its a small, family run restaurant out in West Kendall area of Miami, Florida. My biggest concern with Sushi (with any restaurant) is freshness (because of the raw ingredients). I've eaten in many pricey Sushi bars, and few come close in quality for the price as Kam Wah.
The place is rather small, but cozy. There are a few TV screens on the wall to watch games while you wait for your order, and they offer a variety of Asian beers as well such as Kirin, Asahi, Tsingtao, etc.. The place is always clean, and full on Friday or Saturday evenings. They are closed on Mondays.
The typical dinner for two with sushi, soup /salad, and 2 main courses and sodas, are about $40. Not bad.
