The family restaurant doesn't have a bad dish. I remember going there since they first opened. Love the romantic feel of the owner playing the guitar and sing as his wife is behind the bar making crepe desserts. There recipes take me back to Miami where I was born and raised. I can't say they are better than Versailles but... More

Stopped in for lunch. The menu is substantial for a small restaurant. The food was tasty and the prices reasonable. First things first; we ordered Mojitos!!! Cool and refreshing. We shared the Papa rellena and the empanadas as appetizers. Then dove into our individual meals of: masas de puerco frita, cuban style roast pork and ropa vieja. The meals came... More

We had driven by this place many times and had heard the food was really good. So we stopped there one night when it didn't appear too busy. I think they were short staffed (at least I hope they were) since we waited over 5 minutes just to get someone's attention to be seated. The hostess said they were very... More

We've had Cuban food before, so had to stop in for dinner. Nice charming lil place, easy access. Food was good, wife had their pork and I had their fish. Definitely a place to return again.

My husband and I went to this restaurant twice and the food and service we got was great both times. The servers were very friendly and very attentive. The manager Vicki was also very nice and came to talk to us. We can't wait to go back. Miriam and Sergio Torres

We knew we were in for a treat when we pulled up at lunch time and it was packed. Our mojito was perfect for starters as was our sucullent pork and fresh fish. The owner could not have been kinder and more hospitable. Finish your meal off with the Cuban coffee. I will definitely go back the next time I... More

I've had some excellent Cuban food from Miami to NY. And El Ambiance Cubano is as good as it gets. The Paela is the bomb. It's as tasty as it gets. But, they have other fresh choices, including a fresh fish nearly everyday. Try the tamale for an app. And, the Cuban sandwich is among the better I've tried. The... More

If you love Spanish food, this is the place to eat at in Melbourne. Honestly this place should be rated #1. The food has flavor and they give a huge portion of food for a great price. It's right next to a lake and its peaceful. I prefer to eat outside and listen to the music they have playing. The... More

Our "Day Trip" from Vero Beach to Historic Downtown Melbourne with our friends, who are new to Vero, was delightful and one of the highlights was having an excellent lunch at El Ambria Cubano! From start to finish the food and drink was authentic, fresh and excellent! My husband had the Medianoche and has eaten many a Cuban sandwich and... More
