This place use to be a good spot, but has gone down hill in recent years. We were very disappointed on our last visit. They have the fish posted on the menu. We asked what the "white fish" was. The manager said it was a flaky white fish called Swai. I asked him if this is catfish. He told us... More

Here's the lowdown on Swai (sw eye). The manager was correct in saying it's NOT catfish. It is SIMILAR in CHARACTER to catfish, but is milder and more delicate in texture. It is growing in popularity and we are very proud to serve it in many of our dishes. More

I stop by the Crazy Flamingo whenever I visit Marco Island. Nothing fancy, but the seafood (clams on the half shell and beer steamed fresh Florida shrimp) can't be beat. The wings and garlic bread are also delicious. You order at the counter and they make everything to order. No rushed feeling here, very casual and laid back. Open late,... More

This is definitely a no frills, very casual place but the food is surprisingly very good and reasonably priced. I had an excellent pasta with lots of seafood in it - scallops, clams, mussels , shrimp. It was very good. The grouper dinner was good too. I think this was our best meal on Marco.

A couple years ago the Crazy Flamingo won the Best Burger in Paradise competition at the Marco Island Marriott during the Music Festival on their beach. I needed to see what all the fuss was about. OMG - the best burger for sure. Get the Garlic Bread Bun. Wings were very tasty too. Worth a Trip to what the locals... More

Long-time island restaurant. Order and get food at the bar--keeping their costs low. Fried grouper was great, shrimp was good, but the "Amazing" salad was not.

Went with the family for a late dinner on a Saturday night. Couldn't beat the prices and the food was amazing. Everyone raved about the grouper. There is also a late happy hour- good prices on beer & wings after 10 pm.

Crazy Flamingo has lots of good, well-priced options. But for me, my family and friends, they have have the best fish spread ever! It is served with crackers but, for a real treat, order garlic bread and enjoy the spread with that too. Absolutely yummy! We also think their grouper & chips is better than all others.

We stopped here w/ the kids. Beer was cold, great variety of pub food. Everybody loved the chicken fingers, meaty & tasty! Wings are big and plenty of hot sauce but they skimp on the sauces that come w/ the fingers! Plenty to occupy the kids, arcade games and pool table! You order from the bartender which is no big... My wife and have enjoyed the Crazy Flamingo the last 2 years while vacationing on Marco Island. It is a favorite place for a great burger, chicken sandwich, ANY seafood dish on their menu and my favorite, their beans and rice! And their Key Lime Pie is SUPERB! A down home atmostphere where you place your order at the counter... More

We neglected visiting the Crazy Flamingo early during our weeklong visit to Marco. We squeezed in a stop just prior to our departure, and boy do we regret not getting there sooner. Their burgers are fantastic. The toasted and buttered garlic bread is a delicious ingredient. If you love burgers, try this place. The service was very friendly and welcoming.... More

Description
The Crazy Flamingo has been serving Marco Island for 26 years. It is a VERY, I repeat VERY casual bar setting restaurant that happens to sell delicious food, beer & wine. We are best known for our Wings, fresh fish and Seafood dishes. Our raw bar of oysters and clams are shucked to order right in front of you. So if your looking for a VERY relaxed ,casual, sometimes LOUD but always good food... Stop by.. We do not take reservations, some parties come for dinner and stay all night. Enjoy the Island
