Came to celebrate one of my friend's birthday. Service was great and the food was amazing. I do think some dishes are overpriced but you feel France ambiance for sure I would return

This is a great find. We were in the area for my husband's 50th high school reunion, and the night before we stumbled upon this hidden gem. The food was wonderful prepared and presented. Waite staff were attentive, but not intrusive. They were also very knowledgeable about the various items on the menu and the specials. It has limited seating... More
Maison Blanche is 2 1/2 hour drive so eating there requires an overnight stay - but it's definitely worth it for special occasions. From the amuse bouche to the desert course, you will be treated to a culinary tour of flavor and styles. With the Prix Fixe you have more options since you can substitute any appetizer or entree not... More
We eat out all the time. We know what and how to enjoy dinner... and Maison NEVER disappoints! Chef knows flavors and combinations, don't question it just try it and sit back and enjoy! Maybe you won't know but try it, you could, we try and learn new fantastic culinary delights!!! Thank you!!
Best restaurant in the Tampa Bay / Sarasota area. I travel extensively and am very familiar with excellent French cuisine. ( I have been to six 3 Star restaurants in Paris). This jewel of a restaurant captures the essence of fine French fare. The chef, Jose Martinez, owned a 1 star French restaurant in Paris. He trained under great chef's... More
We were with a group of friends all of whom had the 5 course tasting ,- starting with an amuse buche that was a terrific green spinach based cold soup. The salad, the risotto, fish dish and filet were each unbeatable. We had a choice of 2 whites (California Chardonney or Sauv Blanc, a Willamette Valley Pinot or a Rhone... More
Living for 6 years in this area we never heard of Maison Blanche and it seems to exist for 16 years already. You would not find it if you would drive by. Hence you need an article and that is also how we found it. More importantly you get here something far elevated above the handful of other of top... More
We have finally dinned at Maison Blanche after two years of never being here when it is opened. Every single aspect of our time there was Splendide! The ambiance left the beach behind as did the beautiful owner who greeted us. Jose, the younger, was our wonderful server and his recommendations were just perfect. My husband and I had high... More
Life is wonderful at 80 years of age. Especially as every year my oldest son, Pat, takes me and his family to Maison Blanche on Longboat Key, FL. for a gastronomical delight on my birthday. The Chef and Owner, Jose Martinez, has a command over fine food and wine that is unsurpassed in my young 80 years on this earth.... More
Due to the red tide plague we were the only couple there for the first hour, but they were very nice. The food was expensive but quite good.
