We had never been here before. We arrived at 4:03 and they close at 4:00. The owner saw us pull up and asked if we needed sandwiches (he was in his vehicle ready to leave). Not only did he gladly tell us he would make us sandwiches, but he thanked us and told us he really appreciated our business. The... More

I have eaten at Julio's for many years even when they were located downtown Lakeland off of Kentucky. Today, May 26, 2015 I ordered two pressed sandwiches, one ham and cheese all the way and one Cuban all the way 8 inch. I did not check my order until I arrived back to work and found I received a turkey... More

Stopped by and picked up Cubans for our drive home and some extras to drop off with family members who like my wife and I, grew up enjoying Julio's Cuban sandwiches. Genuine Cuban bread makes the sandwich, and as always, Julio's was fresh and the perfect balance of chewy and soft. The meat was excellent also. We, unlike some purists,... More

It's a little sandwich shop with a long tradition. A recent take over by new owners has made it even better. They've maintained the original menu but now you have your sandwich heated and pressed. From cubans to roast beef there is a variety of different combinations. They also offer traditional cuban specialties such as black beans and rice and... More

This is not a bad shop for a quick bite. They do not have a sandwich press, so it's not my first choice to go to, but the store is clean, the owners are friendly and the service is quick.

Love the cuban sandwiches. Convenient location on Edgewood Drive has drive up service which makes it a quick lunch option without being "fast food."

They have changed the meat quality on the cubans or my taste is just refined. When they first opened they were great but I found that the cuban reasturant on combee s and commerce is much better, best we ever had.

Average sub shop. The sandwich meats are stale tasting. The bread is always old.

Julio's is a little drive-up or walk-in sandwich shop. They offer cubans or various types & sizes, soups, and chips. Everything tastes and is very fresh. (I will not eat old, dried out bread!) The sandwiches can be picked-up quickly if you want them all the way as they usually have quite a few cubans prepared to go. They are... More
