Stopped here for lunch on a whim. The bartender (Katie?) was AWESOME! Helpful, efficient and fun. I had the burger and it was very good. There’s a view of the lake, too. I highly recommend Jimbo’s. Hope to stop there again.

The restaurant is by the shores of Lake Panasoffkee at the end of CR 439, not visible from the town main street. It has outside and inside seating. Very friendly staff and great food. On Saturdays they have live performers playing oldies, standards and 80's...More

Jimbo's advertises "Best Fish Ever" or something similar. They were shorthanded on a Friday evening and service was a little slow although the waitress tried very hard to provide service. The fish, mushrooms, and shrimp were seriously overcooked. Probably would not go back.

Between 20 and 30 members of our convertible club had a reservation, however, another group arrived before our group and there were not enough tables. So, members of our group were seated near the trash area. We certainly will NOT RETURN.

This never happened. There is NO seating near any trash area.

I love this place!! The fish sandwich was excellent- the best I've ever had! The atmosphere was really nice and the view was beautiful. We walked out on the pier after we ate.

Jimbo's is a family-owned and operated fishing resort nestled on the west side of Lake Panasoffkee in Sumter County. Our resort includes cottage rentals, RV sites, bait shop, boat slips, launch ramp, a fishing pier, and delicious American fair cuisine at Jimbo's Restaurant. Jimbo's Restaurant features a classic American fair menu. Our goal is to serve high quality meals at fair prices. We proudly serve our family-inspired fried white fish, fresh angus burgers, black pepper fries, and an assortment of other items. We also serve a variety of beer and wine and even feature live bands on Saturday nights. One of Jimbo's newest additions is an outdoor bar known as The Cave. It has plenty of outside seating as well as a great view of the lake and the only Canooler around!
