We stopped for dinner while staying in Islamorada based on reviews we saw. We were disappointed. Place had only two other tables being used at 6:30pm. Very limited menu. Food quality was only fair. Even with only a few diners we had to take our own check up to pay.

Just a comedy of miscommunication. Our waitress must have had an off day. Items ordered didn't find their way to the table. Request for refills forgotten about. Food was middle ofbthe road. Will giveit another chance.

I will say, though i got the keylime pie to go, once it was defrosted (was frozen both times I got it) it was quite tasty. However, the food wasn't great and the service was not very good either. Further more, everytime I passed Ma's there was literally ZERO customers. Prob wont come back unless I am getting the keylime... More

We are regulars at MA's. The food is always awesome, fresh, good service, attention to detail. Any fish will be awesome and the fish tacos are among the best we've had in the Islamorada area. The meringue Key Lime pie is something you MUST experience to believe! I've been eating Key Lime pie for a long time and nothing compares... More

First off, the food truly was delicious. Best conch chowder ever. Husband had the yellow tail and I had Shrimp and grits. Both superb. However, my husband's dish can out and we were offered a plate to share? Questioned about my meal and was told it will be out shortly. I helped my husband with his meal; finished and mine... More

This restaurant is simply mediocre. The pricing of $32.95 for a Snapoer dinner as a house special is exhorbitant for the content of the meal. The grilled vegetables were minimal and the $5.00 upcharge fir the 'special prep" of a Lemmon butter sauce is unwarranted. We will never frequent this restaurant again. I note that there was only one other... More

We stopped in on a Sunday evening and the place was empty. Service was fine. I had grilled fish tacos. The toppings and dressing were yummy. The fish could have used a little seasoning, but the rest made up for it! And the black beans and rice accompanying it was the best I've ever had! Perfect flavor. All that said,... More

Low key locals favorite. Barbara (Call me Ma) puts her heart and soul into every aspect of the operation. The results are casual authentic seafood that exceeds expectations. They key lime pie is among the best I every tried, and I've been a key lime pie critic for 70 years. Fish basket was generous, perfectly cooked. Blackened Mahi BLT to... More

We ate here tonight at the suggestion of Cheeca Lodge. Just wanted something simple and we ordered 3 Taco Dinners and a Baja Chicken Dinner along with my Yellowtail Dinner. All of the Taco Dinners and Baja Chicken Dinners came out incorrectly and you could see no one ate them. Waitress still charged me in full even after we said... More

Description
Our restaurant atmosphere is warm and friendly. Our food is prepared delightfully light, healthy and flavorful. Our seafood is grilled with lovely toppings - and if you desire fried, we fry in rice oil for good health. We do have delicious, made in house desserts including our Awarding winning traditional Key Lime Pie, German Chocolate Cake and locals favorite Hummingbird Cake. MA's also has a desirable Wine and Beer menu.
