Only place in Key West the have bollos. You would have to be a native conch to know that they are. Give them a try. You won't be sorry.

We were here two years ago and had incredible cafe con leche. I should know, I am Cuban. We returned with much anticipation and found a half empty store. The cafe con leche was a pale imitation of its former self. Save yourself the walk. Too bad!

Expect a waiting line in the morning. Cafe con leche and toast is best for breakfast. Grab a Cuban mix, all the way for the boat or beach. Or, fish sandwich, usually grouper of some sort. No tables, just take out. Local atmosphere. Not especially friendly. Spanish is dominant language here.

I never visit EYW without hitting 5 brothers. All the sandwiches are amazing, and the Cuban is as authentic as it gets. Probably the best Com Leche on the island, which is saying something. Just remember to bring cash.

Having lived in Spain, the Caribbean, and South America for 15 years, my wife and I were looking forward to having breakfast and coffee at this local favorite. We stood in line with regulars, police officers, etc. and watched the efficient staff steam milk and prepare several varieties of coffee drinks according to customer preferences. Our freshly prepared, hot ham... More

It was recommended to go for the coffee and we are glad we went. The coffee is the best we have had in Florida. Small shop but worth making the trip to.

Got a full day planned on the Key? Start it with a double espresso at 5 Brothers, and have them make you a Cuban sandwich to go. Great plan even if you want to sit on a bench outside and soak up the flavor of old Key West.

The service was so poor I was made to feel like a second class citizen. The only reason I ordered food was because of the reviews. I love A good Cuban sandwich which I have had many different times at many different restaurants especially in South Florida and the keys. They were version is the worst that I have ever... More

I had a traditional Cuban sandwich that was great! Bollos horrible but maybe you like that? Empanada good too. Colorful, loud, fun, but no place to sit? Outside bench but garbage cans were out. I ate in my car and sandwich was good! Bollos was bad but I am not Cuban so who am I to say.

Recommended by a local, we left the more touristy area to trek here for lunch. Although the sandwiches were good, w/ helpful staff, there was not alot of ambiance and accomodations for eating were a plastic chair outside or a standing table inside.
