Very over priced for dinner and food was undercooked. Nice people but not worth what they are charging. Sorry but maybe it's better for breakfast

Banana Cafe is the classic tourist trap. Crowded, over-priced, and with terrible food to boot. Avoid this place like the plague ---and walk next door to La Grignote instead (which I've reviewed elsewhere). Just a few short steps from the worst to the best.

Very disappointed eating here after reading such positive reviews! Breakfast and coffee was just mediocre. Patio doors wide open while it was 50 degrees. Waiter was rude when I asked for coffee warm-up. The only thing good here was the location on Duval.
Croissants are very large but they are much tastier at the bakery across the street. Teh room was dark and stuffy. Would not feel the need to go back
We ate at a window-side table, looking out over the folks passing by, who no doubt envied us our breakfasts. I had the salmon eggs benedict - excellent! Coffee was very good too, prices reasonable, good service. Would definitely go again.
