Stopped on our way back to the airport from key west. Great great seafood. I had the tuna nachos and they did not disappoint. Ask for Tammy- she was the best!

We tried this place based purely on the reviews bc we've overlooked this place for a number of years. We were very surprised at how good the food and service was. My husband got the Coconut Crusted Hogfish and I got the Key Lime Style...Mahi Mahi. My Key Lime Style Mahi Mahi was pan fried lightly with tomatoes and scallions and a lime sauce. It was absolutely delicious it was so flavorful cooked very well. My husband's hogfish was wonderful. It came with a raisin currysauce sauce which sounds weird but was divine. It was more of a Carribean curry and not an Indian curry. We were to full to get dessert. Definitely visit here if you come to Key Largo!!More

We were blown away by how delicious everything was. Easily the best meal this foodie family has had in Florida over many visits up and down the east coast.

Came into Key Largo for a couples weekend and were told about Hobos as a must go to. We went for dinner and were made to feel right at home. If you like greasy, frozen seafood you will be ok with this place. We started with the coconut shrimp appetizer. My husband loves shrimp. This was the first time I’ve seen a shrimp dish put in front of him that he could not eat. It...was out of a box and swimming in grease. Unfortunately he also ordered the fried shrimp. Same. He did eat it but it wasn’t good. I ordered the broiled fish trio with no sauce. It comes out with gloppy creamy sauce. I couldn’t eat it so they apologized and made it without like I ordered it. It wasn’t good. All three fish literally tasted the same, like they’d been cooked together. If it weren’t for the seasoning I couldn’t have choked it down. Disappointing.More

we really don't eat "in" anywhere, even places with outdoor seating. (sigh, hate the covid crap). so, we did take out. The conch ceviche was really good. the conch was nicely beaten (important for tenderness), and finely chopped (also important for tenderness). no cucumber, which...appreciate. i prefer a more Bahamian or Caribbean approach, which doesn't include cuc. my husband thought it was too limey. i liked it, but yes, it could have used just a touch of fresh squeezed OJ to tamp down the lime. HUGE portion, and good chips to go with. We ordered two salads. I got three meals out of mine, my hubby got two. I had the Key Largo Lobster Cobb. i, personally, didn't care for the blue cheese, it was over ripe for my taste. a nice amount of lettuce, not a brown piece anywhere. good tomatoes, a whole hard-boiled egg, plenty of bacon a half of a smallish lobster tail and 8 or 9 shrimp. i added some purple onion at home. all and all, very good. hubby had the jerk chicken salad, and he loved it. the chicken pieces needed to be cut up, but was tasty and ample. we would definitely order salads again. i also got the escargo escalliano appetizer (with cheese). YUM! buttery, garlicy, LOTS of fresh snails, lots of good mushrooms, 3 servings for me. Then, we got a pasta dish (yes, we planned to eat this take out for days, and we did). The pasta was Pasta in Paradise. again, HUGE portion. Alfredo sauce was not what i expected. a little too creamy (I think it was heavy cream), and not much of it. the chicken was nicely cooked, mushrooms, peppers, everything was nicely done. i added crushed red pepper and parmesan when i heated it up. for me, it's 4 meals. So, tho we spent $100 on the entire order, we ate it for 3 days, and still have a little bit left. i thought it was good value, and would order from there again. (oh, and the Death by Chocolate was also delicious, and it took me three servings to finish).More

Haven’t stopped here in a while while on the way to the keys. Still must say just as good. Food was delicious.
