We started our key tiki bar tour here. A little over an hour from Miami airport. Looks a little sketchy from the outside, but it's a cool bar on the water. Read all the reviews about the conch fritter, so we ordered it. Thought it was rather tastless deep fried dough with rubber bands in it. Must have to be... More

Haven't been in the Keys for a couple of years but the wife and I decided first food stop was Alabama Jack's for conch fritters - something we really enjoyed on past visits. Unfortunately this trip was a huge mistake. Fritters were overcooked and extremely tough. Worse than that, got to the condo an hour and a half later and... More

Unique atmosphere....that's all we're gonna say. Worth the stop, just for the experience. And it is not very easy to get to! We stopped on our drive BACK from the Keys. You keep driving, and driving, and driving, and right after the Toll.....BOOM! ALABAMA SHACKS!!!! I mean Jacks.... It's right on the water. Food is decent. We had the conch... More

I had heard of this place but had never stopped in. We made this one of our stops as we drove from Miami to Key West. We just got appetizers and drinks. It is a funky little place right on the water. It was well worth going a little out of our way.

Super informal place -- seat yourself, country band playing, mixed crowd -- good food. Enjoyed the steamed shrimp and conch fritters.

A restaurant with a lot of character and live music. The sweet potato fries with dip were great. You can sit by the bay. Can get quite loud, which drowned out the live music at times. No draft beer.

Most people get on the stretch going into Key Largo and never think about making a left on to Card Sound Road, well next time do it. The place its self isn't much to look at the the beers are ice cold and the food is off the hook. Doesn't hurt either that it's on a canal so there's water... More

Neat little restaurant right on the water. Prices are reasonable, and the food is okay. Very good atmosphere with live music.

Enjoyed our meal at Alabama Jacks; however, it took 45 minutes and a toll to get there from Key Largo. Didn't try their speciality, Conch fritters. I did have a burger and my wife had a crab cake sandwich. Nothing exceptional.

We had crab cakes, fish tacos and the conch fritter. Huge fritter!! Great crab cakes. Tacos were fine but the fritter was fantastic and, did I mention it was huge? Great atmosphere. Will absolutely go out our way to do it again!!! No beer on tap. Prices--easy on the wallet. The kids will really enjoy it also. Been there since... More
