Took our friends to Reds Restaurant for breakfast and we all loved it so much they want to go there every time they visit. Just wish they were open for dinner.

Red's is 10+ miles northeast of Hernando Fl. If you haven't heard of Hernando then that tells you the remoteness of the location. Red's has an expansive breakfast/lunch menu. For breakfast, a friend and I split fried green tomatoes, pancakes, scrambled eggs, grits, and biscuit with sausage gravy. The best item was the fried green tomatoes, a firm green tomato... More

This is a great place to go to meet with friends when you are hungry. If you like biscuits and gravy, order the half portion unless you want to share with somebody. The prices are on the high side, so we don't go there often but when we do, we know the food will be good and plentiful.

Best place for breakfast around, and the lunches are great too. But I usually have breakfast there, cause they serve it all day. They load up the plates piles high. Plenty to eat and never leave without feeling full. The place is always busy so you may have to wait a short time for a table, but always worth the... More

Reds is a favorite to take friends and family. Breakfast is an experience with lots of food. Biggest "pancake" I have ever had. Love the "orange zest french toast" as well. Lunch is even better. Lots of choices.

in for lunch, as we KNEW this is one place you can depend on for good food each time, every time. And no over-charging either. We ordered a fish sandwich and split it, while the wife and my friend ordered the Rueben Sandwich - and split it. All of us ordered one side, slaw, fruit plate, etc. All good, all... More

Stopped for lunch. I had a French dip sandwich that was delicious and very generous portion. It was served with 2 sides I chose fruit and for $1.00 upcharge I got sweet potato fries. Both generous. The fruit was a plate with full slices of cantaloupe, honeydew, pineapple and some grapes.

My husband and I stopped here for breakfast and it was amazing! The home fries with sauteed onions were amazing. Corned beef hash was perfectly cooked and the service was good. Cute atmosphere.

Small local restaurant that my parents, who live in Ocala, go to. My husband and I stopped at for breakfast on 12/23/11. Worth stopping at.
