There are simply few things in life as pleasurable as eating Krishna Lunch with friends on a breezy, autumn day in Gainesville. The hidden jewel of student dining worth coming back to day after day.

Had severe stomach pains and cramps within 30-minutes of eating the food, then explosive runny watery diarrhea for several hours, no thanks, not again.

Krishna lunch has been a life saver on multiple occasions!!! It's cost effective only 5 dollars for a big plate of healthy delicious vegetarian food. It's only $2 for your first time, and trust me it's worth trying! They mix it up everyday and it's usually on point! I know once the semester starts back up I'll be the first... More

Who wouldn't like sitting outside under shade trees while enjoying a cheap and filling lunch? You can enjoy a vegetarian or vegan meal and a drink of tea for $5 daily or $3.50 if you buy 10 tickets in advance. Plus you get free refills.

Krishna Lunch is the only option I would ever consider if I became a vegetarian. Every day of the week they serve a different meal, and they're always delicious. You'd hardly notice the lack of meat if no one told you. Plus, it's cheap at less than $4 a pop, and it's all you can eat. Their halava is fantastic,... More

I would feel no need to ever consume meat again if I could eat this kind of food every day. It's been 4 years and I still think about that almond dressing. I just wanted to pour it over everything. It was something not of this world. And their halvah..... and their chilis and veggie subjis and pasta sauce.... I... More

KL was the sole reason I could concentrate on studying + job search in my last semester at University. It is the best vegetarian food you can get and the cheapest too. The almond salad dressing is simply awesome, and people actually approach KL to buy bottlefulls of their salad dressing. $5 covers rice, 2 gravy/ veggie dishes, halva, salad... More

Ive been there twice to give it another chance and make sure. Even at $4 it sucks. There is no meat or dairy. The only recognizable dish there is spaghetti. And what is the flavorless brown ball made out of? If you are broke then try to find another 2 bucks and go next door to chipotle.

Wow...so good and its $4!!! They serve it every weekday on campus and at the Krishna house. They always have a delicious entree with a salad with almond balsamic dressing and my favorite...halvah. Halvah is their delicious desert. It is 100% vegetarian and easy on the digestive system and very tasty!!
