We met friends for dinner on New Years Day and despite a large group, we were seated (outdoors) immediately. Beer selections were plentiful and moderatley priced. DInner selections were diverse but everyone had excellent meals. Shrimp, pastas and crab legs were the top of the list. losts of crab meat but our friend had to work (not unusual) for the tasty treats inside the shell. Having them cracked would have been a nice touch but still worth the price. Traffic to Ft Myers Beach is always difficult and expect to pay to park - or just dock your boat at restuarant. Worth the trouble.

All 4 of us really liked our food. Shrimp basket, fried fish tacos, chicken salad sandwich and boom boom chicken sandwich all delicious and reasonably priced. Service by Valerie was excellent and a young man named Tripp made our night by honoring the Vietnam veteran Marine with us by making him a special dessert. Valerie also adjusted both of our bills in his honor by 10%. Great place🇺🇸

Great place to enjoy a beautiful view, great food and build memories... Service was excellent with wonderful recommendations of appetizers and main course dishes. The seafood was served hot and fresh and the prices are reasonable. We look forward to our next visit! Thank you.

A nice menu, wide ranging and medium prices is what you find at Nervous Nellie's. It is a solid option near the water at the top end of Fort Myers Beach. Initially we were directed upstairs where there was a bar (with additional table seating) and live music. It was a vocalist and a little too loud for quiet conversation at the table. We were then moved to a very nice corner table on the first floor with a great water view. The server who took our initial order seemed great, but unfortunately either she or the kitchen forgot the tiny details (omission or additions) that we asked for. When we reminded her, she cheerfully brought the missing items, but then never came back to refill water or soft drink glasses. The french fries, while bountiful, tasted frozen and they, along with the fish, tasted like old oil in the fryer. Likewise, the coleslaw was disappointing as it had the distinct taste of having been in the refrigerator for too long. This restaurant has the potential to be great....maybe we just caught it at an off time since it was a Monday night.

Group of 6 plus two children (1 & 4) for dinner. Great assortment on the menu and good drink selection. Priced a little on the high side but good size portions.
20% gratuity included in the meal for our size party was not necessary in my opinion.
One of the orders was prepared incorrectly and delayed while it was corrected. It arrived after we had all finished. Otherwise all good.
One time for us though. Doubtful to return

After eating at your restaurant with a bad taste in our mouths due to one of your employees ran out to us on the second floor outside area bumped into and leaned over me while I was sitting down and dropped the umbrella down rudely saying “you can’t open these umbrellas up here if you want shade you’ll have to figure something else out.” I remembered there were a few things incorrect with our order. One was the shrimp and scallop bruschetta that both my spouse and I clearly recall we’re that there wasn’t one scallop on our plate. And second my lobster Mac and cheese had not a bit of cheese nor any bread crumbs, it was just sitting in a creamy flavorless sauce and for a new item I expected better. Overall from start to end I was very disappointed, the only thing that was any good was the waiter, extremely polite young man always on top of things when we needed him. Other than that I can’t picture my self or my spouse and friends returning. Also to add insult to injury I emailed Nervous Nellies and they sent a confirmation email saying I will hear back and never got a response!

Went for dinner on a Monday evening 2 weeks ago, been there 1 year ago and it was amazing, not this time. I ordered the crab cakes and for $20 I was expecting some blue crab, well it was like eating a hushpuppy, no crab!!! It came with smashed red potatoes and mixed veg. both ice cold, not even luke warm , ice cold! After eating 1/2 of a crab cake , we called the manager and he removed it from my bill. I ate when we got home. Hubby ordered the seafood platter and last year it was a spectacular platter, this year it was a little bill in an oval ceramic bowl!!! Certainly not worth the huge price tag. So disappointed, maybe under new ownership, not sure, but won't go back.

The Gov allowed restaurants to reopen this week, so we cruised down the Beach in our boat and docked. Nellie has lots of outdoor tables so there is no problem with social distancing. The wait staff all wore masks (unlike the customers) and made a point of saying the condiment bottles were sanitized. I'd like to know how long the virus survives outdoors in our sunshine, not long i suspect, so outdoor dining isn't scary.
Oh yes, the food. Same as always. My wife loves the lobster but was worried they wouldn't be able to get any. No problem, plenty of fresh lobster salad. I like their fish tacos which have big chunks of haddock and hardly any room for the shredded cabbage or tomato.
We finished with mile-high carrot cake, a celebratory indulgence as we haven't been out for a meal for weeks. It is delicious but needs more rum (!)

From the reviews, ratings, and photos, we were excited to try Nervous Nellie's so it was our first venue upon arriving to Ft. Myers Beach. The oysters and mahi tacos were good, but the burger just had a strange flavor, just blah and a little dry/overcooked. Limited domestic draft beer selection. We felt the food and cocktails were overpriced. It didn't help that our waiter disappeared several times and we had to wait for him to get condiments, lemons, etc. Plus, there was no free parking, which is a pet peeve of mine when I am patronizing your establishment.

Pulled up on our boat and someone came right out to help us dock. We were approached right away and seated at a table outside with wonderful live music playing in the background. Our server, Jules, was perfectly attentive and we were very happy with the drink and food selection. We all enjoyed our drinks and lunch and can't wait to go back!

We have food allergies and celiac in our family and they have a dedicated gluten free menu. They made a dish for my daughter with a dairy allergy that usually had dairy and made with out. Service was friendly. Garret Oliver was our waiter and was very friendly and helpful. The Mahi Mahi tacos were excellent.

We had lunch at Nervous Nellies on Friday & had a delightful experience. The food was good but our server Kris was exceptional. She took the time to review the extensive menu with us, inquire about our food tastes, then made suggestions based on our preferences. The view was lovely which made the whole experience a very positive one.

The restaurant was definitely a let down especially because I was looking forward to it a lot. Our appetizers, (Buffalo chicken dip, gator bites, and pretzel), were incredible. I thought this was going to be one of the best restaurants I had ever been to in Florida after the appetizers. But then came the meals. The patty melt I ordered didn’t taste good. I had a few bites and then I just stopped eating it because it wasn’t worth it. One member of my family literally spit out her food, (coconut shrimp), because it was so bad, but she liked her clam chowder soup. Another member of my family got mac and cheese and it wasn’t very cheesy at all. Aside from the food though, the service was bad. When we got seated, no server came to check on us and get our drink orders for a long time and other servers continued to ignore us for a while. When a server finally came to our table, Jay, he was very disheveled. During our meal he was very monotonous and brought the mood down. The outdoor area though was amazing. It was very spacious and had a great view of the water. What I thought was weird though is that they only have live music from 2-5 on weekdays so we didn’t get to hear that because we came for dinner. Overall, I think the experience at this restaurant can be really different depending on the day, server, and what is ordered, therefore if you are interested in eating here then make your own choice based on this review because I neither recommend it or not recommend it.

We ordered Chicken salad sandwiches. They are served on generic white bread and sort of bland chicken salad inside. In addition we got a small portion of cold slaw of which each had either vinegar or water just sitting in the cup. I read reviews before we went and wonder if most are more impressed with the waterfront and staff than the food itself.

This a cool location. The appetizers were good. We had the boom boom shrimp, shrimp and scallops bruschetta. No complaints with that. It was the main course. We ordered Sailors delight—It said jumbo shrimp and gigantic scallops,Maine lobster sauce with sauté veggies. It actually came with steamed veggies greasy sauce and no cornbread. It had no jumbo shrimp or scallops it was medium shrimp and chopped scallops. The next order was premium crab cakes. It was two nice size crab cakes over cook. Not nicely brown and ground crab meat, veggies were cold. It took a while for the waitress to check on us. By the time she came back we were ready to go instead of complaining and sending food back.
