DO NOT EAT THERE. THERE IS A NEW OWNER!!! It is not the same restaurant what we used to enjoy. Dirty, cheap looking place. With dirty menus. The worst is the food. Cold, under-cooked and mislabeled. They serve pork with beef gravy and they say...More

This restaurant is now called the Bavarian Ale House, not sure if current owners are the same who bought it from the long time owner of former GA restaurant . Time will tell.

I wish this could be a more positive report, as the owner/chef and our server, Amber, are very nice people. Amber, in particular, deserves a shout out for grace under pressure. But, those qualities do not a great restaurant make, and this place is sorely...More

One of the first things we asked for, at 6:30 that evening of dining was bread; they had none to offer. If you're in Cape Coral, there's BAM, a German facility that probably offers dark rye. Also check the Publix stores.

Description
Helmut (chef) has been indulging their guests since many years until August 31st 2017. Time has come to retire and transfer the restaurant to young and engaged people, Nicole and Dieter who get a new approach to manage the restaurant with ideas. I thank all friends, guests and relatives for their support. My main goals have always been: make guests feel at home, let them enjoy fine food and make them having a good time. This will be also the intention of Nicole and Dieter from Germany. We are located in the Courtyard of the Royal Palm Square. Every 2nd Saturday of the month is an event: German-Night with a big buffet.
