Canyon is simply the best! A true gem in all of South Florida. From the signature Prickly Pear margaritas to the amazing "small plates" to the main dishes and of course, SWEETS. We were a group of four and had Tuna Tartare, shrimp and grits, smoked salmon tostada, and the beef tenderloin tacos to start with...not a single dish disappointed.... More

Overjoyed from the get go! The warm intimate ambiance made for a perfect stage for a special birthday celebration amongst close friends. We ordered the prickly pear margaritas which are a must and shared in an assortment of tapas...each one better than the last. My favorites were the calamari and quesadillas. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating which is... More

4 of us came to Canyon for a Saturday evening birthday get-together. Started with a couple of Prickly Pear Margaritas before ordering several appetizers from the menu. Tuna tartare, Sweet & Spicy Calamari, Port Tender Stir Fry, Braised Pork Tamale, Pork Tacos and the BBQ Shrimp Tostada. For dessert we had the home made chocolate brownies, their crisp apple dessert... More

This is a nice neighborhood restaurant. The chef has added a twist to the dishes, combing flavors not expected. We were three diners, each ordering something different and each commenting how much we had enjoyed the food. The wait staff was very attentive, but not hovering. A couple of caveats 1. They do not take reservations, which means it can... More

First time here. The Prickly Pear margarita was perfect, you can see the pulp from the fresh made sour mix in every drink. Ribeye tacos were so good I'll be back for margaritas and tacos in the future. The Strip on special was ridiculously good, it was a last minute decision and I'm glad I made it. Hidden gem, or... We ordered multiple small plates and were more impressed with every one that came out. We are huge foodies and we're so impressed with the quality and flavor of the food! Great attention the flavor profiles. I had read reviews about the bread pudding and usually don't find myself ordering it, but this was by far the best I have... More

Used to be a good place. Unfortunately our experience was marred by a stroppy female bartender. Think the pre made house margarita is far too sweet!

What is the name of the barmaid the evening of 17th of January 2017? I was sitting next to a group of 3 people who were very nice. She had the rent a cop evict them for making a joke, the barmaid escalated the situation and threw the guests out, and the renta cop threatened the guest with being arrested.... More
