There are SO many better Italian restaurants in Ft. Lauderdale - don't waste your time or money on Cafe Martorano. Average at best Italian food was the only semi-redeeming factor of the evening. The hostesses at the door were surly and could not be bothered to smile or even pretend to welcome our party of 4. Waitstaff rushed us through... More

My Waiter was so helpful and friendly that Greg made the night worthwhile. The food was very good but very pricey. Meat ball and rigatoni for $34.00 is unacceptable considering that no bread was served with dinner. Atmosphere and ambience were a natural plus.

So I ordered a linguini dish with seafood. Unbelievable you actually can't get a piece of bread with this meal. Even after asking. They send over a boxer of a women to basically tell you that's the way it is if you don't like take off. I found it more than offensive. Had I said another word about it I... More

I took my wife and both of our families here for Mother's Day. If you like a cool trendy restaurant this is it. The menus are all on digital tablets and the place is covered with TVs playing classics like the sopranos and the godfather. The owner Steve has always been there whenever I go and he is the head... I was VERY pleasantly surprised. Pulling up to a restaurant in a strip mall, I wasn't sure what to expect. I was actually shocked my friends would pick a place like this, but they had been once before and knew what I now know. We had the BEST time. We sat down around 9:45pm which was much later than our... More

Have been to all his restaurants and order Sunday gravy, went to the Ft. Lauderdale one, informed Sunday Gravy not on the menu, he wants people to try his other dishes. Won't be back until he puts it back on the menu.

Café Martorano has the best Italian food in South Florida hands down. I can start going through the menu, but honestly I have not tried anything that is not wonderful ! after 9 pm, the music slowly starts to get turned up, by 11 it's like old school disco meets the best food you've ever had. get your butt over... Stop by Cafe Martorano for amazing Italian food and a very cool, groovy atmosphere that will not let you down and probably will blow you away! Chef/Owner Steve Martorano is a great dude and an imposing figure...dont let that stop you from asking to meet the "Man" if he is in the house!! Don't miss Cafe Martorano!!

We chose this restaurant because we had guest that have a 75 year old business of making pasta. They are italian. They did not like the restaurant. There are no substitutions...you order what is on the menu and that is it. The crowd/staff were loud, rude, mafia type people. We sat down and ordered 6 appetizers right away for the... More
