Good Italian restaurant in strip center near heart of Ft Lauderdale. Food and service first class. Menu very typical but done well. Reasonable priced for tourist town although it appeared that most of the crowd were local.

Met three friends for dinner at Café Vico. We had purchased a Groupon certificate to try this place. We met in the bar for drinks. Happy hour was excellent. Great bar staff... piano player ...Large pours.... And good bar food all half-price! If I rated it on the bar alone I probably would have given it 4 1/2 stars. So... More
were visiting from out of town and relatives suggested we go here for dinner. Excellent choice service was great and food fantastic. they serve you hot rolls with olive oil herb dip that was great. I ordered shrimp fradiavlo that was a little spicy but very good. This was authentic Italian not like the chain restaurants. When I am in... More
Tucked into a strip mall this restaurant does not look impressive from the outside. The food, however , is outstanding. Perfectly cooked pastas and sauces, fresh seafood, and and a great wine list. We dined on a Friday and there was a live piano singer , lending to the great atmosphere. I tried the Shrimp Scampi , and it was... More
If you like Italian cuisine and are visiting Ft. Lauderdale, dining at Cafe Vico is a must. My wife and I grew up in NYC and so had many chances to eat at good Italian restaurants. Cafe Vico surpasses them all. Try the eggplant parmigiana...it's the Very Best, and anything else on this fine menu. The decor is pleasing, the... More
With ala carte dinners from $20-35, and starter salads running about $9, you can drop $50 a head here pretty easily. But the servers are pleasant, and the food quality seems high. All in all, a good main line Italian restaurant with lots of tables outdoors albeit next to the parking lot where the view is car bumpers and tail... More
Cafe Vico the restaurant I lovingly recall in when I,was kid sparring with Rocky Graziano. The food is authentic Sicicilian. From the clams in white broth to the Chicken Salmbuca or the whole roasted Branzino, the food is excellent. Note: there is a lovely jazz band that is quite good. Great for before or after dinner drinks, but take a... More
Tucked away in a shopping center, you will find this amazing restaurant. We dined there on Valentine's Day, our experience was outstanding. Our server was attentive and so personable. The meal itself was superb, the lasagne was the best ever. Can't wait to visit again. LOVED IT!!
this place is always busy but the food, service, quality does not suffer as a result! we enjoy "splurging" on this restaurant. so good!!
I had the yellow tail snapper and my wife had the seafood ravioli...Both were perfectly done. The complimentary garlic dip is insanely good. I could have stopped my meal there. The only thing separating this restaurant from 5 stars is the limited wine selection. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys good quality and a reasonable... More
