Good wholesome food, but sure gran at home could do better! Big portions so don't order too much! Deceivingly expensive compared to the quality received!! Photo is from our trip to the restaurant!

Friendly reception and thereafter everything went south. The waiter was more interested in chatting up and flirting with a guest and discussing her personal life. When we received our food it was bland and tasteless. Had a hard time getting the waiters attention and as I was half way through a sentence wanting to order a coffee she turned her... More

The Pot and Kettle is a great mid way spot between PMB and the North Coast and it was a great setting for a family get together. We were served by a very friendly and efficient waitress who knew the menu and specials and made it all sound delicious. From Rump cooked perfectly to great burgers, all our meals and... More

6 of us had been on the road for several hours and had been told about this place. We decided to pop in for a burger (it was highly recommended). Very attentive and lovely staff. A view to die for overlooking the 1,000 Hill area. Monkeys in the trees. And did I mention the burgers. FABULOUS My only comment would... More

Visited on a misty day but still can appreciate the beautiful surroundings. Wide selection of eats and drinks. Good number of tables to sit at and look at the view. Staff attentive. Prices reasonable

A quick breakfast out with the in laws and family was middle of the road at best. An understaffed floor meant waiters struggling to keep up with service, cold fairly average coffees being brought after a long wait were drunk eventually as no one came to check up on them. The breakfasts (Pot Medium all round) were fair value and... More

This used to be the place to visit. It has excellent view of 1000 hills but the whole place has deteriorated. The buffets are not up to standard.

This was my second visit to the Pot and Kettle, the first of which was about 4 years ago. Unfortunately, the restaurant appears to have gone down in quality, in my opinion. We stopped by for a small lunch while touring through this area. My first impression was that it was like sitting in a rather dingy bar, rather than... More

I've lived in the area for years and in the past few I thought the standard had gone down. However, we went for breakfast the other day and it was great! Good coffee, generously portioned breakfast and a beautiful view. Very glad to see the place is going back to it's good old self.

Had a family Sunday buffet meal. We have eaten here many times, and I must admit that I would have preferred ordering off the a la carte menu for the price. Cannot fault the carvery, albeit there is not much different that a person can prepare there was nothing outstanding. The same old.... the same old whatever you find anywhere... More
