Nothing like riding your bike on the trail and stopping at elis BBQ. Meat falls right off the bone. Closed sundays for church!

worth waiting in line for this bbq! very reasonable.I had the white meat chicken sandwich which was 1/2 a chicken on bread and cole slaw on the side . Husband had the pork sandwich which he enjoyed alot. the chicken was cooked perfectly and delicious, so much I needed help to finish it. Line is long but goes fast.

Such a fabulous find! Show up early and bring dinner home! This family run place has all of the charm of a real southern bar-be-cue! The smokehouse, the flavor, and the very kind and helpful family who run the place. A must stop for anyone who likes a good southern BBQ.

I was impressed by the locals recommending this Fri/Sat only restaurant. I was impressed by the long lines out in front. I was not impressed with the BBQ slab I purchased (it was OK), and the fact they ran out of almost everything early in the day. Don't count on them for dinner.

great value for money, everything in to go boxes to eat outdoors on the picnic benches next to their shop. When they've sold out the place closes. Open Friday and Saturday starting at lunchtime.

This place is legendary. Eli put it on the map, and has passed away. His family now runs it and they are only open on Friday and Saturday. But, the way they prepare their food, the smoking begins days earlier. This place is legendary in the entire area. During our last visit there a week ago, we met regulars who... More

I am from North Carolina where we know a thing or two about BBQ, and let me tell you that this place is legit. Although I am personally not a fan of the hot sauce (I prefer vinegar sauce to offset the smoke), I thought that the meat was cooked absolutely perfect, not too moist so as to lose all... More

If you enjoy ole southern style wood fired Bar B Q, then Eli's is worthy of a Friday or Saturday treat. The wood fired flavor of red oak is evident in every morsel, of this slow style cooking. This is home style Bar B Q over a pit style cooker, not smoked. Only opened two days a week, however, worth... More

Eli's is a family owned business that has been in the same location for years in Dunedin close to Alt 19 right off of Main St. They are only open on Fridays and Saturdays, is a cash only place with picnic tables for seating. Easy for Pinellas trail users as well. I stopped in on a Saturday afternoon and the... More

I had heard about Eli's BBQ from friends and never tried it. Today, I happened to drive by and decided to turn around and check the place out. I am happy I did!! I ordered a 1/2 slab of ribs, meat only and it was tasty. My ribs were moist and dem bones were meaty. I wasn't disappointed. If you... More
