We stopped here for lunch during the week. The alligator attraction was awesome and preoccupied us while waiting for a table. Our 9 and 7 yearvold loved seeing the animals and for a price you can feed them on a pole and line. We got the free crab dip with a coupon from the hotel coupon book. The crab dip was good and would recommend it, but use the coupon. The kids menu is the usual fare (cheeseburgers, pizza). I ordered the Nashville hot shrimp which was plenty of food and also pretty hot. The wife got the shrimp and grits and said it was good but spicy. Overall this place was a great stop and would recommend it for families with kids.

Our wait was only about 10 minutes around 4pm on a Saturday. We ordered the crab dip, stuffed shrimp Parmesan, and the original Fudburger. I’ve never cared for coleslaw, but the pineapple coleslaw was really good. The food was all very good and the service was great, but it is rather pricey for what you get. Our bill was over $60 for 2 people, kind of steep with one of us just getting a hamburger, and neither of us getting drinks - no alcoholic drinks or soda - we just had water to drink.

My 2 adult daughters and I went to Fudpuckers in mid June as things were just opening back up from Covid. The inside was only seating 50% but outside was 100% and pretty crowded. Not sure how safe but we had fun anyway.
We fed the gators and had 2 rounds of drinks while waiting about an hour and half for our table on a Thursday night. There was live music and plenty to see so we didn't mind too much.
Once seated we we ordered 2 entrees and an appetizer and were very pleased with all of it. I had read some of the reviews and had lower expectations for the food and was pleasantly surprised. The shrimp and grits were very tasty and we ended up taking some of it home because the portion was large. The mac and cheese and bacon jam burger was a hit as well.
Overall we thoroughly enjoyed the food, drinks, and atmosphere at Fudpuckers and would recommend it to my friends. It was not cheap but hey, we were on vacation!

The food, the entertainment and atmosphere is all sub par in my opinion. The kids thought it was cool to feed the gators. I’m just not a fan of any animals used for profit. We waited for almost an hour for a table (on a Tuesday night) after getting seated it took another 40 minutes for food, granted we are 7 deep. Once the food got to the table the kids chicken looked and tasted burnt, the burger was raw, the waitress offered to remake all the food which we opted out, Because of the wait. We just ordered sides of Mac n cheese. She never offered to take the meals we sent back off the check which was $196.00 so in my opinion very sub par all around.

Full disclosure, I went to High school in FWB. I only went to Fudpuckers because it brought back good memories of the old days. The service (once seated) was good. Food came out quickly, but is nothing special. The crab dip is very mayonnaise-y. I had the blackened fish tacos. There was so much dressing on the tacos I had to scrape off everything and just eat the fish. The fish was good though. Go here to see the gators. If there is a 2 hr wait, you may want to look at other restaurants because the food is only so-so. Other guests in my party had the gator burger and liked it.

3rd year visiting Destin and we decided to try Fudpucker’s. It’s seemed like a fun environment definitely family friendly. However, we did not have a good experience at all. We walked in for a table and was told an hr wait which is perfectly fine very normally anywhere during lunch time. We headed down to see the gators and my 3 year old loved the exhibit. There is a playground for kids to play on as well while we waited. We received a text that our table was ready after waiting about 45minutes and it all went downhill from there. We ordered drinks and when the waitress came back she dropped one of the drinks on my mother and it spilled all over her and the floor. The waitress was in shock and very apologetic so we assured her it was okay. Once receiving our drinks we placed our orders and waited and waited and waited. 2 other tables that was seated 15 minutes after us received their orders and payed before we even received our meal and they had more people than us as well. We finally received our food after waiting 40 minutes. My mother got the mushroom from the appetizer section, she said it was really good not too filling which is what she went for. I got the the gator dog and it was so delicious definitely something different except the fries were kinda blend. My sister got the mac and cheese bacon jam burger and she loved it. As far as the drinks go super flavorful not too strong just perfect. My sons order was completely wrong we ordered gator bites for him and received fried shrimp which he still ate. Once we finished we received a complimentary desert because of the incident that happened earlier with the drinks as well as a special birthday dessert for my sister since it was her birthday. Overall, I’d give it a 3-star because of the experience we had and I’m not sure I would give them another chance.

We waited about 35 minutes so we went outside to look at the alligators. It was really hot outside. My shrimp Sandwich was just ok and the kids food was mini corn dogs so they were happy. My husband has a shellfish allergy and they basically just told us don’t order anything fried. We’d come back to check out the alligators again but the food is just ok.

Two couples for happy hour and dinner!!! Our server was Saul and he was so energetic and happy- provided great attentive service. He walked us through the 50% off everything- and explained some of the menu choices. We split a combo of alligator,fish and shrimp, had a ribeye and scampi- all of which I would recommend. Also fed the gators and got a photo, so a good time there.

Complete joke!
Let me save you a ton of money.... if you are trying to give your kids an experience go here and see the gators for free then leave and go to Pompano’s to eat. This place is overpriced frozen food with really crap service with staff that have a bad attitude. The wait is typically half the time they claim but as you are seated you’ll notice only half the tables are full and it doesn’t appear to have anything to do with Covid. It is just a complete joke of an “experience” and just puts you in a bad mood by the time you leave.

This is the first time my husband and I have ever eaten at this restaurant we are so happy with the service we received. Our server Aubrey S. is hands-down the best server we have ever had at any place we have dined at. She was quick to get our drinks and food out, and she had a great personality and was so much fun to talk to. We will absolutely be returning in the future and I will be requesting Aubrey's section of she is working. The food was delicious and the music adds to the super fun environment:)

My kids always want a visit to Fudpuckers when in the Destin area. My daughter and I enjoyed lunch on a recent Friday. We were seated immediately, no wait. Dianne was our server. She was great. We pretty much knew what we wanted we have been there so many times but the menus are always fun to read with the extra stories (menus look like a newspaper). My daughter had the Seafood pasta and I had my favorite the Fudpucker burger!. We shared fried pickles and ended up taking food to go we could not eat it all. The food did not disappoint. We also fed the gators before leaving and bought a few items in the gift shop. Love this place!

Got there at 430 and was told it would be an hour to hour 15 minute wait! I understand with the pandemic, seating is limited but come on! Watched a little bit of the gator show to kill time. Got a couple of overpriced drinks at the bar which weren't that good. Finally got seated. One of our party ordered a southwest chicken salad which she said was very good but it was $16.99. I got the crab stuffed shrimp parmesan which was okay but not worth $28.99. Skip this place and save your money!

When we walked in, I felt a bit overwhelmed as there is writing all over the walls, tables, EVERYTHING!... But, that's just me. It was a fun atmosphere with the music, the waitress was super nice, and the food was good! I ordered popcorn shrimp and my husband ordered a steak. The shrimp and fries were very good, the portions AMAZING. My hubby enjoyed the steak though for him, it was a bit too peppery. We left with our tummys full and after spending a bit of $$ in the gift shop, because you can't help but buy a shirt or two... or SIX. LOL

This is a great family place as the alligator exhibits and other small attractions provided for a good atmosphere especially traveling with children. The food was pretty good too. Each couple split the large seafud combo platter and there was plenty to go around.

Dinner began with a welcome stating 2.5-3 hour wait. We took the kids to the arcade next door for two hours. Turns out that was the highlight of our evening. The gator displays are pitiful and the environment for the gators themselves tragic. I can’t imagine it’s at all fair to these poor animals. The food was terribly disappointing all around. Probably the best thing was the kids hamburger. The broiled seafood platter was absolutely smothered in spice dust - probably Tony’s or something similar. You couldn’t even taste the seafood. To top it all off, this was the most expensive meal of our vacation. We highly encourage you to stay away from this one.
