Looks like it's a locals hangout. Lots of people but plenty of seating. Good food with lots to choose from. Friendly staff and clean. Will definitely go back to try other things.

Very friendly wait staff. Great food, done right. good prices. The fact that they have been around for a long time says a lot about their food, value and service.
I met my daughter at Smitty for lunch. I ordered a Cheeseburger and Onion Rings. It was the best I've ever eaten everything was very fresh, lettuce, tomatoe and onion. The next time I'm in Dade City going to sample the down home menu.

We use to love getting breakfast from Smitty's however the last several times (we have given them the benefit of the doubt) we have not been pleased at all. Hashbrowns are undercooked, the big breakfast sandwich with sausage is nothing more than one egg on...More
It's definitely a 'locals' place. It looks like a dump, but the food is great and the servers are some of the friendliest you'll ever meet.
This restaurant is a favorite of menfolk-lots of food and drink. Food is okay, but not always very well cooked. Servers are the typical "hash slingers" and you'd be better off eating here if you have a great capacity and no taste buds.
