The food is very well cooked and tasteful. Although the service is kinda slow. Food usually takes a while to come out but overall I recommend it.

The first think I noticed was the restrooms are right there next to tables; where people eat! It is small and reminded me of a converted diner. My husband had a burger and he said it was ok. I had the fried chicken dinner and it was ok. My meal came with one trip to the salad bar, which was... More

This was our last stop coming off a 5 day fishing and dining trip. I've ate here 3-4 dozen times in the past 20 years and the food has been always decent. Southern style food. The locals eat here, so that should tell you something. Plus this stop is the first one heading southbound to Cross City. I've had a... More

Typical Local hole-in-the-wall place. They have a buffet, but it was almost 2:00 when we arrived. So, it looked past its prime. I had a loaded baked potato and it was good. My husband had a cheeseburger and said it was good. The French fries were frozen crinkle fries. So, that was disappointing. It was kind of dark in the... More

After spending the night at The Putnam Lodge, we went across the highway to The Cypress Inn. We chose the buffet over the menu. The selection was good and everything was very tasty. As we were leaving. They were setting up the lunch buffet which looked delicious. We will have to come back for lunch. Sometime soon.

We were searching or GPS's for a place for seafood as we were passing through. The sign for a seafood buffet jumped out and we noted a lot of cats in the lot. They seated right of us immediately in an air conditioned room and we opted for the seafood buffet. Everything (from shrimp, scallops, oysters, frog legs, chicken tenders,... More

Stopped for the Biscuits and Gravy at the Cypress Inn early Saturday morning to find all I could eat was way too much. The sausage was great and country fried pork strips fantastic. The gravy was down home and biscuits fluffy. The servers were great and the place with the washed pine walls was a treat. The orange juice seemed... More

I love that they serve a local dish no other restaurants serve, swamp cabbage. It is by far my favorite dish they have but all of the other food served there is great home cooking. You won't be disappointed.
