It is a no brainer to get some homemade white rice, black beans and a quarter of chicken... It never gets old.

Always seems to be busy. I stop at Pollo Tropical occasionally as it is conveniently located at the east end of Miracle Mile. Good for Cuban fast food, but not a Versailles. With all the traffic, the place could use a little attention to clearing...More
Pollo Tropical is my favorite fast food chain. Everything is great. Try the plantains and for dessert the flan.
With options of chicken and pork, and tastes perfectly matched to lovers of Latin food, the salads and rice & beans are great. The prices are unbeatable too. I eat here at least three times per week.
If you are on a budget, want delicious Cuban food, and are in a hurry, this is a great place to go. The chicken is perfectly seasoned but the black beans, rice, plantains, and desserts are very good too. Definitely worth the visit.
Place is good to eat Chicken; very variable; clean ; good Prices; friendly Workers; good to eat Lunch; some different Dishes; we spend the Time with a Friend and it was good
The chicken is flavorful and inexpensive, rice and beans quite well prepared. For $5 or so per person you'll be very happy.

Pollo tropical is a great option for a quick, cheap meal that doesn't compromise taste. Very few places can beat the value you get here. The restaurant is kept very clean. Seems to always be busy but service remains quick.
Not a big fan of the chain. Food bowls are relatively cheap and generic. I prefer the more formal Cuban and Caribbean restaurants.
