I grew up not far from Lone Cabbage Fish Camp. I remember going to this place with my family and my grandmother back in the 60's. We would cane pole fish from its banks along one of the canals. I recently revisited this place some...More

Brought the family to Lone Cabbage for a airboat ride. Due to the size of our group the owner actually came in early to run the tour. We saw more than 40 gators and had a great time. We highly recommend this company. Very well...More

We had lunch, and pre-lunch here, with everything being served hot and fresh. Fried chicken, grilled Mahi sandwich, and the fried shrimp basket were all winners. Great local spot with a bar, outdoor seating, and everything you need for a relaxing meal on a hot...More

Wonderful place. Terrific airboat ride with a very knowledgable driver. We saw alligator and many different types of birds. Learned a lot about the area and wildlife.

Today we went to Lone Cabbage Fish Camp for lunch for the second time on my trip and loved it. I got the chicken fingers and my aunt got the frog legs, catfish, and hush puppies. The food always is delicious from there. The service...More

Primary purpose of visit was airboat ride. Pricey for 25 minute ride - was supposed to be 30 minutes. Restaurant was ok, basic burgers and fried food. A tourist stop.

Great local place with knowledgeable guides. Lots of alligators (and cows in the St John's River to escape the heat and drought). Although I had lived in Florida for years, I learned things I did not know about alligators.

Service wasn't too good on this day. I think we had 2-3 different servers, but it took forever to get a refill.

They do have quite a bit of outdoor seating at lone cabbage. And yes, as long as the bed is not a dangerous one, then yes. People do it here.
