A beautiful sunny day so we decided to drive to Clearwater and walk around and take in the sites. We came across this cute place on the water and decided to check it out. We both enjoyed the atmosphere. We never felt rushed. The staff is awesome and the food was really good. We would go back for sure.

my mother and I stopped here for lunch and although the outside may seem unassuming the food is awesome! When you enter you step into a real bait shop with live bait but continue on to a deck with outside seating and wonderful food! Highly recommended

This place was recommended by someone local and we weren't disappointed. I've been coming to the area for many years and never knew about it. Walk to the end of the piers and there it is. I would imagine in the summer the crowds and wait time is more. The food was excellent right down to the key lime tarts... More

My friend took me here for lunch. We split and had grilled 1/2 Covina fish and 1/2 Wahoo. I had coleslaw & steamed broccoli. It was perfect, especially the Wahoo !.

There was 2 couples who had an excellent lunch on Saturday. There are not a lot of tables so we waited 10 min. and had a drink first. It was fine and we had a pelican visit close by. Once seated I was pleasantly surprised by the food. It was very well prepared and tasty. I had the clam chowder.... More

I struggle if I should write this review and share my little gem of a secret... but oh well! Love love love this place! It is a must do for us each time we come. Low key, Literally on top of the water on a deck. The menu is a variety of whatever they caught fresh that day. If you... More

Fresh seafood and a nice relaxing vibe. Very refreshing break from Clearwater beach. Drunken shrimp appetizer was the bomb... Wiped the bowl clean. The chef said the secret was booze and butter😜

Went with my family, the place is beautiful and they have an excellent service. We tried some plates, have and excellent selections of draft beers. But we loved the drunken shrimp and was, wooooww!!

Upon taking the Clearwater Water Taxi, we were advised to eat at the Bait House. It was the nearest restaurant to the first stop at Clearwater Besch. It is on the dock. Very small, but very big on flavor! We sat at the 6 seats bar. Ordered Grouper tacos with Aha sauce...WOW! Best fish tacos ever!

Thank Barbara K
