This place looks like a bait shop so it was a real surprise to find a restaurant located on a patio covered with one dollar bills. The food is just excellent. I highly recommend the "drunken shrimp". Very good service with a smile. Worth the try.

This restaurant had a lot of good write-ups, but unfortunately, my sister and I were disappointed by the service (routinely ignored by the servers), the food was fine, but the prices we found cheap compared with similar restaurants in the area. Also, it's by docks, but also next to a parking lot.

We stopped at The Bait House on recommendation from a local we met riding The Jolley Trolley, which stops here. The place is very small, right at the dock at Clearwater. A little dive as some might call it. If you want great fresh seafood sitting out on the water, The Bait House is your place. We both had Corvina,... More

Had lunch here with my wife. Hard to find, small, fishy smelling, way too friendly for a resort town -- but do yourself a favor and check it out. Go alone, drink beer, eat fish, and write something in your journal.

What a lovely little place, a huge selection of craft beers, watch the waves and chit chat, of have a nice meal. Really like it here, probably the best place for a couple of jars and then a lunchtime snack

An out of the way little restaurant with good food. We had the drunken shrimp and the spicy tuna nachos. My husband said the shrimp was the best he had all vacation. The nachos were also very good. Nice place.

Was greeted by a female waitress with long brown curly hair who, without any expression, informed our party of 3 that we would have a long wait. We agreed to wait at the bar but was told to wait in the waiting area. Very small but quaint place. Had one beer and showed to our table where before even sitting... More
