We arrived a little early so we were able to have a drink in the cute little pub in the hotel. Cedar Key is noted for their clams so we were excited to try them. The dining room was nice and the food was excellent. I did try the redfish and it was mild and good. We all sampled the... More

We didn't eat in the fine dining rather we went on the suggestions of the locals to eat in the pub as they have one of the best burgers we would ever have. The burger was okay. No where near the best we have ever had. Very slow service because the poor waitress was the only one working and she... More

Went here our first night in Cedar Key and had an amazing meal. We arrived I town a bit late - headed out for dinner at around 8:30 - and were a bit concerned we wouldn't find anyplace open. So lucky we found this place. Our meal was fabulous! Definitely try the stuffed fish!

All the locals rave about this place that's all I heard of all week how great this was. I'm sorry but this was the worst meal in Cedar Key.

We have eaten here before but this was not the best meal we have had. The fish was dry and they called it stuffed but they only had a little stuffing on top and not much of that. I had Redfish mine was more dry then my husband his was Mahi. The salad and dressing were very good and the... More

Cedar Key restaurants in general have very good basic seafood. If you are looking for something a bit fancier, this is the place to go

Went here for dinner as recommended. Food was absolutely delicious! Stuffed mahi, and shrimp, redfish, scallops plate were the best we've had. Great atmosphere. We sat in the bar and heard some live music. The dining room looked nice for a quieter visit.

This place came recommended to us as the best dinner on the island, so maybe we just ordered the wrong items. Tried the escargot (first time) chef's style in a creamy dill sauce. Didn't taste the dill but pretty good. Wife ordered the stuffed fish which was dry, and I ordered the ribeye which was just okay. Not a bad... More

I love this place. Island Bar - all the locals. Great bartender. The fellow sitting next to you at the bar, probably caught the meal that you're eating. Just a great place.

We began our meal with the salad - which unfortunately was gritty, chose bleu cheese dressing, also not pleasing due to the scarcity of the bleu cheese, one roll for each person in the bread basket... NOT a good start. Next came our entrée choices of the fish (Mahi) shrimp and scallops, with veggies and rice for the starch. The... More
