I was tipped about this place by a local along with the favorites, we tried their pulled beef, steak sandwich, Chicken dinner, Yuka Mojado, rice and black beans, ended with an dessert called Flan. This is was one of our best dinners in our trip to Florida. Great place for real and good Cuban cuisine at very reasonable price. Highly... More

I do wish we had decided to eat here prior to our last day on vacation. The food was delicious, the servings were more than enough and the price was amazingly inexpensive. Breakfast for two (including Cuban coffee if you wish..) was $10.85. The service was good too. We will be back on our next visit to Cape Coral.

This place is great for the cost. You can get cuban or american coffee with a good breakfast for very little money!! It has good lunch specials as well. What it lacks in ambience it makes up for in GOOD food.

Every year my nephew and his wife visit from Kentucky and one of their favorite places to visit has been El Mambo restaurant on the corner of 47th Terr and Del Prado in Cape Coral, FL. This year being no different, they went there. My nephew said the food was awful and called the waitress over to tell her. She... More

This was our one and only visit to El Mambo. Food was good, prices were great, service was OK, but the atmosphere was poor.

Not a typical American breakfast. The bacon has a Cuban flare and the eggs are obviously farm raised (giant dark yolks). The pastries are delicious and the empanadas are authentic. No breakfast is more than $5! What a value! Why not five stars? Bathroom was not as clean as I expect and the service was adequate - not exemplary.

My wife and I have visited El Mambo a number of times for both breakfast and for lunch. The place is clean the food is really tasty and the service is great. It's best to get there early for breakfast because the cafe is not very big and fills up fast. Lunch is slower there but the food is something... More

Nothing fancy, but come on folks, where else can you get a full breakfast with eggs, (Cuban) toast, sausage, bacon, or ham for less that five bucks?!!!! Personally I wouldn't know "authentic" Cuban food if it ran me over on the street, but I have HEARD that it is authentic, and the breakfast value is hard to beat, as is... More
